Goofy question but ill ask anyways.

ok, im gonna try and phrase this as...understandable as possible. ok, im tryin to loose fat from my legs and lower body in-general. I recently started playing baseball at school and i play catcher. Will just doing catching drills and running help me to loose fat from my glutes and to help make them stronger? Im trying to figure out this because it seems to me that lifting your body weight up from a crouch to a standing position would. Thanks for any advice on this or about those muscle groups!

Well, like it's been said on here many, many, many times before...you CAN NOT SPOT REDUCE. Your body will generally shed fat in the opposite of how it puts it on. If it puts it on your stomach first (like most people) then that's where it will drop it LAST.

I think the common misconception is that when people start to train, and their muscles start carrying a better tone (and by tone I mean they are firmer and fuller from being activated during the workouts which gives the illusion of less fat around that area), they confuse that will SPOT REDUCTION because they see a noticable difference in one area.

The only way to go about losing fat is to eat towards your goals along with a sound resistance regimine

Good diet + Good workouts + TIME + CONSISTANCY = Results
