thank youuuuuuu ashy

my cous-cous salad is so simple
cous-cous (obviously), 1/2 a teaspoon of veg stock granules (i mix this with the dry cous-cous before adding the boiling water), then when it's done and cooled down, i fluff it with a fork and add peas, chopped spring onions, halved cherry tomatoes, chopped red pepper, a sqeeze of lemon juice, a drizzle of olive oil, and salt and pepper.
tis very yummy
OH MY GOSH! your tortellini soup looks AMAZING!! definitely going to try that out soon

(i already have some tortellini - it's fate! haha) i can't believe i've never thought about putting pasta in soup - even with the basic minestrone i never really thought of it as pasta lol.
last night i had my pasta in tomato and basil sauce, and my dried fruit and nuts for snacking on - but i got
SO hungry this morning and i had a big cheese mayo roll
*GASPS!* not good. i'm going to swim it off later though and will lower my calorie limit for later - probably just have 1/2 a tin of soup and a green salad or something. i think my problem is that when i'm at work i get really dehydrated because it's so hot, so when i'm thirsty i confuse it with hunger (because i'm silly like that) and eat instead of drinking. so for my next shift, i'm going to take a big 2 litre bottle of water with me and drink constantly throughout the night so i don't get hungry.
work was pretty good last night. i was moved wards, and the ward i ended up on only had 11 patients so it was a fairly slow night. however, this morning, just before it was time for me to go, i had to deal with a patient who'd ripped his drip out, which wasn't nice. however i walked the 4 miles home again - my feet are officially killing me - so i managed to fit something in
