-A Fresh Diary for a Fresh Start!-

*I will be sticking w/the Biggest Loser Calorie Counting/Weight-Loss Program*
{I have all the materials/I will be doing a review/re-reading where needed.}

My Goals for the New Year:
I have to make an appointment to see the specialist re: all of my chemical disorders.
They have been causing a lot of emotional problems/depression with me the past few months.
I hate going bc it's like pulling teeth to get them to actually listen to me and my needs. You are so often treated like cattle; they want to herd you in/out and just give you high powered drugs.
My body does not respond to that and most often the only thing my body will accept are antibiotics.

I may also try to find an herbalist doctor.

Once this is accomplished, I think I will be stronger to really have success with weight-loss/exercise.

I'm fed up with the up/down yo-yo.
I want my life back.
I want to be healthy and I also want to feel/look great!

Pictures just do not show the problems.
I would have to be nakie in order for all of my problems to be visible.
I'm 5'8 with long legs/arms, so it's easy to hide everything under clothes.

I need to lose every bit of the 40 lbs. even though the pics of me may not show it.

I have serious belly fat: bulge/look preggy

My inner thighs/legs are the worst they have ever been.
There hasn't been a space there 4-ever.
Very chunky/fatty

I have rolls in my mid-section.

My hips/bootie are way out of shape and large.
I'm currently a tight size 14 - waist is 35"
{My husband has a 34" waist!}

My face is full w/2nd chin.

I want to get rid of all this unhealthy garbage - get in shape - feel great - & look great.

The biggest goal for me is to become/stay active!! That is a must.

My plan is to work in a 3 wk pattern.
{I was trying to mix it up too much and that got me confused and dreading stuff and then I just gave up completely.}

Everything below will be done for 3 weeks and then I'll move to the next thing for 3 wks. and so on:

1st Routine - 20 mins. Mat Pilates
Brisk Walks

2nd - Circuit Training w/Weights
High Cardio/Denise Austin Dance Mix

3rd - Brisk Walks
Light Cardio w/Weights

Start from the top and repeat.

I hope to be able to change things up at a later time if I can get my hands on a used spin bike/exercise bike and maybe one day I can afford to join the Y or something.

My first Mini Goal is to see the 60's by Feb!

2nd Mini Goal : Reach the 50's and this will then help me to get a clear picture of what my goal weight should be.
145 or 135..
We'll see once I reach the 50's.

I would love to be a 9/10 again, but I can live with being an 11/12 as well.

Most of all:

I have got to work on and learn how to accept myself and love myself which is something I have NEVER done.

This means it's time for me to get back on track with my faith which is a non-denominational Christian.
I will start off with re-reading one of my favorite books by Joyce Meyer: Me & My Big Mouth.
I will start at home first with prayer - bible study - watching Joyce everyday on T.V.
{During this I hope Cory will take interest again. I will never force or make him do anything bc He will be 14 and is his own person.}

Once I'm doing well, I will then start searching for a church home again.

I really feel that I have had such a hard time and just keep going in circles bc I gave up on the Lord and was bitter/angry bc of my past and so many other issues.

I need the Love of God back in my life.
I need to renew myself in Him.

I hope to shine and glow for all of the positive reasons above in 2008 and for the rest of my life.

Day 1 is TOMORROW!

I will weigh in and do measurements.

~*Welcome To My New Journey!*~

LOL. :D

Thanks!

Visit as much as ya like.

I'm pretty nervous about weigh in and measurements for Day 1 tomorrow. :svengo:

I'm hoping all the cleaning/putting away C-Mas stuff knocked off a few lbs! :biggrinjester:

For 2 days in a row I ran around like crazy w/very few breaks.
Each day I worked from 1PM - Midnight or later!!

I'm plum pooped!

I'm resting today and doin' nothin'!

Hi Stacy

Good luck in your new diary and the new stage of your journey.

If I know the way that you clean you are sure to have burnt off a lot of calories.

Good luck at the scales (and tape measure) tomorrow. One thing is certain - the start weight will be less than your last start and so much less it is silly than the weight that a lot of your friends have had. Try not to focus too much on the number itself - but what you can do to make it come down or at least not go up. Try to eat and act as healthily as you can - and I am sure that you will be rewarded with a great weight loss.

Have a goal reachin' new start.

Take care
Love
Margaret

So glad to see you refocused and determined to achieve such great things!

I look forward to watching you SUCCEED!

PS - Go Steelers!!

Hey girl, that was an interesting and inspiring post. We can do this if we keep working together like we have been! Good idea about the measurements. I will do mine on Jan 1 as a nice starting point, glad you reminded me. Joining a church sounds like a good thing for you, where you will be around people and make some social acquaintances and have some activities to attend, as well as strengthening your faith.

Thanks Angel. :)

Thanks Margaret. :hug2:
I look forward to the new plan and I'm fired up again.

LOL Tyly! **GO STEELERS!** :hurray:

Thanks. ;)

We can do this!

~*Happy Sunday Y'all.*~

What an awesome SHOCK! :hurray:

Weigh In: 173.2 :hurray:

I thought I'd be 178-180! LOL

All that packing away C-Mas - Unpacking reg. decor - Plus Cleaning, had to have helped me!

Not thrilled w/my measurements though.. :piggy:

Waist - 34" {Down 1 at least!}

Mid-section - 33"

Hips/Tummy{ending under belly button} - 42" *yuck!*

Inner Thighs - 25"

Today is Day 1

Just a note to those that may start posting here:

In Sept. my start weight was 187.0 lbs.
I was in a tight size 18

Hi Stacy

It is great to see you all fired up again.

That is a great weigh-in for after Christmas.

I have just checked your old diary. Your posting from the 22nd contained the following weight related quote:

Was..... 174.2 lbs.

Now.................. 175.8 {It's still tom as well..I'm bloated to. I can feel I'm retaining water.. I barely ate yesterday as well. Had 2 protein shakes - a snack - and then dinner was a WW Meal..}

This means that just before Christmas your weight was up because you were retaining water and you have lost that and lost weight from your previous week's weighing. Put into context we can see that you have lost weight over Christmas.

You are right - all the exercise that you have been doing will have cancelled out those Christmas goodies that we all ate to some extent (even though we were trying to be good). It is a good life-lesson about the benefits of exercise. Exercise certainly doesnt need to take place at an expensive gym to burn those calories - packing away and cleaning has clearly been a serious work-out.

I can assure you that just about all your measurements are tons better than mine. I am loads of inches bigger than you everywhere except thighs. If you notice I carefully avoid mentioning my measurements in my diary - that is because they are frankly embarrassing.

You are doing really well.

Take care
Love
Margaret

Thanks for the reminder Margaret and your support! :hug2:
