I know, and I am thrilled with my progress so far (well, not the levelling out I've done over the last 6 months, lol, but before). I'm just feeling anxious to get it done already.

I went out last night, had some fun, got a little sick....:coolgleamA: And have gotten over that guy. LOL!

I am so confused. Thursday and yesterday I think I broke even in calories. From Friday until Monday I overate. I know I did. I didn't have my scale but I knew I had to be up 1 lb, probably 2. I'm not exaggerating at all, I ate a LOT, and all bad.

I got the scale back and weighed in this morning at the same as last week! How is that possible???
 
I'm not worried. In fact, I'm ecstatic. LOL! Just confused why I ate way over in calories but didn't go up. Oh well, we'll see what my official TOPS weigh in is tomorrow.

Nope, I usually only go out to celebrate something. :( I think the next celebration doesn't come until Christmas. You can go get loaded enough for the both of us then come and chat with me tho. :sifone:
 
Vent ahead....

I hate being at this inbetween stage. I feel almost good enough, but then I try to wear something simple and sexy, I get hard reality biting my ass. I'm going out tonight; nothing special, just a drink or two with some friends. My jeans that I normally wear are a little loose, so I get out the next size down. I can get them done up, and they make my butt look good :)cheers2:) but they are so low cut that my sides and stomach hang out like crazy. I believe it's the dreaded 'muffintop' I hear about. Blah. So close, yet so far. Going to have to go with the looser jeans. :(

OMG! We are the same weight and we have the same exact issues! Sheesh, that's a damn page out of MY book ha ha :rolleyes:. My jeans have also gotten a wee bit looser the last few weeks, but I definitely wouldn't fit into the next lowest size so I just dont feel I look so hot. :banghead: My stomach gets really huge if I overeat for a few days too, but today its lookin' good off my 1557 cals yesterday! Ha ha.

What kind of exercise do you do DQ?

I think you are just awesome, having come down so far and maintaining your weight in the 130s, that is nothing to sneeze at woman! :hurray:
 
I don't exercise anymore :nopity: I need to get back into it. I used to go to the gym and do the treadmill a few times a week, and go for walks. I have a mini trampoline for the living room, and have just bought a bunch of Turbo Jam DVD's I'm going to try.



So, weigh-in sucked, on the surface. I was up 1.5 lbs, but I think I'm actually the same. At least according to the scale this morning. Plus I wore jeans to TOPS tonight instead of shorts or lighter pj bottoms, so I think that accounts for the gain. We're aiming for at least a 1 lb gone for next week!!!

Because at this size and after losing a certain amount of weight (which for you was really quite a bit!!), I am convinced based on my own experience that its not all about "calories in vs. calories out". There are a lot of complex mechanisms involved with our metabolisms, and by eating a lot more you increased your leptin levels, which in turn quell hunger (once elevated) and speed up energy expenditure (metabolism). I really do think those complex processes have something to do with your and my plateau. If I calculated my cals in v. out it doesn't add up anymore, though it used to. I used to calculate my exercise and what I ate and when the deficit added up to 3500 I would lose a pound. But that doesn't work at all anymore. Its all very very complicated :rolleyes:.
