Going to be the New Year's Ho...LOL!

I don't exercise anymore. I need to get back into it. I used to go to the gym and do the treadmill a few times a week, and go for walks. I have a mini trampoline for the living room, and have just bought a bunch of Turbo Jam DVD's I'm going to try.

Do you do weights too or just cardio? I hope so :D. Just think how nice and toned your body looks with weights. I just recently started back again after taking the summer off and there's a big difference already. I look a lot more toned and my jeans are looser, despite the scale being the same :mad:.

Get your hiney to the gym for some exercise and weights woman!

Edited to add: Can I be blunt? I dont think you'll keep your weight down for the long term if you dont exercise regularly. That is a reality for anyone that has ever had weight problems. Please do take this seriously, its not going to work with just the eating in the long term. Even if you just exercise 2 or 3 times a week, that's pretty good!

Yes, of course you can be blunt. LOL!

I miss exercising, actually, and how good it made me feel. I guess we started slacking when our gym closed, that combined with bad weather. :p Anyway, I've got these videos in today, and I'm going to start with the cardio 3 times a week. And I'm getting back into the little weight routine Steve wrote out twice a week too. I'll have to basically start from scratch again with the weights, but that's ok. I really do need to work on toning as I work on these last stubborn pounds!

I'm also determined to be consistent in my food tracking. I know how easy it can be to 'forget' how many calories I've eaten so far in a day. Makes it too easy to go over. So it's time to dust off Fitday, and my meal planning.:hurray:
 
MAN I still look at your current weight, and I'm mesmerized!! I would LOVE to be 137 again, AHHHHHH those were the days.

I have decided not to exercise today (except to maybe do some crunches). I have yards upon yards of snow to shovel. I did almost half an hour so far, and will do the rest as soon as my hands thaw out. :ack2:
 
Snow?? Are you serious? wow, its still pretty nice here, it was 52 today!
Heres what fitday says about shoveling snow...

LMAO it's not THAT bad! ;) Snow stays for 5 months or so. It's usually the first week or two in April that it all goes away. Loooong coooold winters.
 
I don't mind the cold, and I don't mind the snow. What I hate, no loathe, is snow drifts and such. Can't stand cleaning up after a snowstorm. :p
 
So I think I did about a half an hour or so of shovelling. Worked up a sweat out there. :)

Food today is alright so far, but I gotta keep myself distracted so I don't start up the snacking again. I think I'm going to finish moving my living room around and re-organizing my scrapbooking stuff. That'll keep my hands busy. :biggrinjester:
