Going On A Trip

Well, I must say I'm really disappointed in myself. I'm 140 going into my trip and by the time I come back, I'll be 145 or more.

Anyway, what are some tips to contol my food intake on the trip? I can't beleive I used to be 130 before I joined the gym. It doesn't make any sense :(

5lbs is 5lbs. dont worry about it. have fun eat what you want and the extra weight will motivate you when you fet home

Maybe I'm reading this wrong but how do you know you'll be 145 when you get home? How long will you be gone?

What kind of a trip is it? That'll help us tell you how to control your eating.

Most cruises have workout equipment so fit in a few, fun workouts and still eat what you want. Make sure you drink a lot of water and still try to stick with lean proteins and whole grain carbs. Have fun though and don't obsess over a little weight gain. I know that's easier said than done though :)

Take a week off and have fun. I recently went to the Canary Islands and also thought, Uh oh, here it comes! but it turns out, we did so much walking to explore that I didn't gain at all.

Don't ruin your vacation by obsessing over your weight. HAVE FUN and if you have to work extra hard when you get back, so be it.

Enjoy your trip!

Go and have a blast. Teresa is right on... ships usually have some fitness equipment or activity (a class or track or dancing). Be active and enjoy the food :)
