Going Bonkers! Weight Loss Diary

I'm feeling better this morning. I weighed myself in at 257. It didn't seem possible to me, I thought I was just being silly to think I'd reached the 10lb mark. So I did new bust, waist, and erm..........hip measurements, and I've lost in all areas, almost 3 inches all together!!! That perks me up a lot after last night. Woot!

It'll be two weeks before my next weigh in (I don't want to worry about weight during my period ;) ), but I'll keep trying!

What's really amazing to me is that it's taken 3 weeks to lose 10lbs at 2100 calories and exercise. The first time I did it, I lost 8lbs in one week eating 1300 calories without exercise. This method is so much more comfortable, and I'm glad to be doing it like this!

Congrats on your ten pounds and inches lost! That is so great. Keep doing what you're doing -- seems to be working very well :). Congrats again!

Hi Brittany,
I am so touched by your journey, because I am starting where you have been. I am so proud of your for going for it, and I know we can both do it. If you ever need extra encouragement, please feel free to PM me, you go girl!

Hi!!! I'm just stopping by to show some support.

I totally understand the low calorie, one-week crash diets....They work, but were so painful!

I wish you luck! Stay Strong!!!

Howdy "LF"
Ty for dropping by I want to drop by and wish
luck on reaching your goals, congrats on your loss so far!
You can do it!!!Hope you have a nice weekend Tammy

I just wanted to drop in and say thank you for popping into my diary.
This is something that will not come easy mate there will be many tumbles and falls but there will also be a lot more wonderful achievements that will compensate. Keep your chin up and keep at it and you will get to your goal.

Oih, I'm alive and still working at it.
I haven't been feeling a lot like being online. I've taken over a couple hours worth of house work every day for the past week. I also went swimming once this week, but I honestly didn't do a lot of exercise or much in the way of eating properly (house cleaning made me more tired than usual I think)

HOWEVER...

My weight is down! 252.8lbs!!!

That's 4.2lbs since the last weigh in and a total of 14.2lbs. I'm quite happy!! Hopefully this week will be less tiring.

So 14.2lbs in one month. Today is my first month anniversary of joining the forum. I can't believe it's been a month. :)

I seem to have a migrane today, I wasn't able to clean or anything. I'm not feeling well, so I'll just post my food for the day, and maybe I'll feel better later to exercise and clean.

Breakfast: 1 Whole Grain Tortilla + 9oz sweet red pepper+ Cheese string + 1 cup of milk and 1 serving of strawberry yogurt

Lunch: 8.3 oz boneless skinless chicken breast

Snack: 34 grams of cheddar cheese + 1 clementine+ carrots

Total: 1390 calories.

For dinner I had enchliada rice, with sour cream. I don't know how much of either, so I'm going to feel free to assume it took up atleast the 700 calories I had left for the day. (based on product packaging+ educated guesses)

We'll say 2200 for the day.

Oh my goodness I over ate today!!!!!!
2605 calories!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Which I'm supposing is only 500 more than my goal caloric intake anyways, even without exercise, so maybe if I get out and do a good amount of exercise (if I can stop feeling so full) I won't be so bad off today.

I don't feel like writing out what I ate today, but it was dinner that killed me if anyone was wondering. We had company over, that's why.

Otherwise the day would have gone very well. Oh well. I'm still happy when I'm full so I can't complain. I knew it would happen, so I'll accept the fact that it's already in my system and get over it.

Also, I was heating up a pre-cooked chicken breast in the microwave today and the plate broke, so it was wasted my boneless skinless chicken breast (which costed me a bundle) what a pain.

That's all for today I guess.

Blah. Make that 2700 calories.
What a crappy calorie day XD oh well.
I plan to swim 40 minutes tomorrow, then walk home which is another 40 minutes.
And I walked tonight for 45 at a decent pace. I even tried to jog, which hurt because I was too full.

Ah well.

OK, so today is done and you know where your mistakes are, what is important is tomorrow! You can't control the past, but you can however control the future!

14 plus pounds in one month is incredible!! I needed 3 months to achieve that!! I guess it is a bit easier when you are bigger, but still... it shows your hard work and dedication. Don't be upset if it slows down a bit now. My first 2 weeks I had a 6 pound loss and never since then did I achieve 3 pounds in a week again, but as long as it moves down (or not for a few weeks and then down again) is good! Every day you don't put on is a good day, every day that you lose is a magnificient day!
And I stopped weighing myself every day, because I was driving myself bonkers, so now I am just weighing in on sunday! Sunday is a great day to weigh in, because if it is a magnificient day you have all day with nothing to do to feel great about, and if it is a poopie day with a gain, you have all day to plan what to do next and what to do differently.

Have a great day today! Camy

Thanks Camy :)

Today I ate about 2190 calories. A little teeny bit over my goal, but I think that's justified by doing a lot of exercise today though. 45 minutes of swimming + 101 minutes of walking. I'm physically exhausted.

Goodnight!

101 MINUTES OF WALKING?!?!

aren't your feet tired??!?

good job with all that cardio!! your hardwork will definitely show! =]

Good job swimming and walking! And it is great that you aren't attempting 1000 cals like so many others but feel happy with a higher number. That is how it should be!

Well after a long week of illness and not being able to exercise I was finally starting to feel better.

Then I was getting up to to go get something from my sister, slipped on something in my room, my ankle went the wrong way,so I fell, my knee got damaged, and I hurt my hand.

So sprained ankle, sore arm and knee(knee opposite to the leg of the ankle). So much for starting to walk again.

It's been a long past few weeks, and unfortunately my weight loss has taken a side step. However,I hope to be back on track now!!

There's been a lot of stress in my house lately. Between injuries, there's been the killer wallpaper that took three days to peel off the walls, having to repaint, and plan a wedding reception in less than three weeks.

Finally yesterday the reception was held and everything was perfect. (Not my wedding by the way...we for some reason were throwing it for my aunt).

Everything was amazing. It was the first wedding I've been to since I've been at an age to remember weddings.

I'm beginning to have back pain again unfortunately. I think it might be a UTI. Of course it's only been for two days. Perhaps it will get better.

That's all for now. Back on the weight loss crusade with me. I gained 5lbs back saddly, but i'll make do. I lost it once, I'll lose it again.

I guess I should start recording here again, though I'd rather not.

For breakfast:

2 pilsbury pizzas +a banana

For Lunch:

1 cup of strawberry ice cream on a 25 calorie cone, +1 turkey sandwhich on whole wheat with 2 tsp of margarine

For dinner:

1 *smart english muffin, with 3 eggs, 20 grams of cheese, 1.5 cups of salad (with 2 tbsp of low calorie dressing) and 500 ml of milk (big dinner!!)

Total calories: 1900.

I'll probably cut up some fruit a little later and eat it to.

Happy Birthday Jennee, I'm back on the diet >_<

This week has good well. I gained some weight back initially, but it seems to be disappearing fast.

I've had a decent eating week for the most part, and gotten to the pool for some exercise too. I'm doing better. Still learning how to eat better, and learning how to enjoy eating better.

I haven't posted my food diarys, but I've been keeping track of everything I eat. I've become quite particular about it, so much so that I'm weighing my 1 tbsp of peanut butter. I hope eventually I'll be able to better recognize 1 cup of milk, and stop having to measure everything so carefully.

It's going alright still. I had a little bit of a bumpy weekend, but I'm back on track. 2100 calories today, the norm.

I'm about to go swimming. I feel extremely lazy, but I figure I should do it anyways. Then i'll walk half an hour home.

Today I'm 1/5th of the way to making my gym pass worth it for me financially. I'm glad.

I've never really been able to lose more than 20lbs. I've always gained it back too. I'll feel incredibly happy when I get to 240lbs. That's 15 pounds away. I can do it!

You sure can do it!!

You are doing a great job with your exercise and diet, so you will reach 240 no probs! The it will be 230, then 220...until you get to where you want to be! I try to think like that too, it makes the overall loss seem much more manageable!

Keep up the great work and i know you will be at 240 before you know it :D:D:D
