Hello There!! Just dropping by to give some words of encouragement. Seems like your on the right track. Great job on running the other day, I wish I could do that myself, even though I work out a lot, I still can't run but a mile or two without coughing like crazy. LOL LOL

So today I went walking this morning. I need to start out slow and build it back up. I've been eating ok this week but I really need to step up the exercise. So wish me luck and I'll talk to you all soon.

First just let me thank everyone who has stopped by to show their support.
It makes the whole process a lot easier.

All I am able to do for a little bit is walk because I hurt my back and any twisting or jarring just isn't fun right now. So walking it is. At least I'm moving more than I was for a while and I plan on doing even more.

Walking is great exercise, there are plenty people on here who only walk and have lost tons of weight. So good for you on doing the walking, every little bit does help!! Keep it up!!

What happened to your back? Oh no!! I hope it isn't too serious. Take care of yourself.

Keep up the exercising. I've exercised 8 out of the last 9 days...hehe Steal some motivation from me.

Good luck Ruthy! I know what you mean, I've been only doing 30 minutes of cardio each day, seems like that is all I can do at one time for now. I need to get it back up to 45 minutes.

We'll get there! We aren't old ladies yet! lol Let's go to the track this Saturday, you game? I'm ready to test this knee out.
 
So still only walking so far, but lots of it. My back is killing me so I'm trying not to jar it or I will be on the floor. But eating pretty well lately. No fast food and I've been staying away from the sugar for the last few days which is th hardest for me. Day by day, little by little I'll get there.
 
Yeah HOOOEEEYYY!! Great job! I'm so proud of you! Keep it up. Yes you are correct...lots of big events coming up and it will be nice to be a tad bit slimmer :)
 
So yesterday and today I got up at 6 and went walking for a couple of miles. I really need to get rid of this double chin so I'm going to ease my way back into running so I can enter the 1/2 marathon here at home. I need to kick start my program cuz before you know it summer will be here again.
 
OOUUUU!!! I like what I am hearing! Let's do this already! I'm going to try to do both the Sacramento 1/2 and the one near your house. Let me see how far apart they are. I'll be doing long runs every Sunday from now until then if you want to join me. xoxox!! great job!
 
WOW, I just envy both of you gals for running, regardless of how far it is. I like to run, but I have all I can do to make it a mile without stopping, and then after I'm done I spend the next hour with this dry hacking cough, LOL LOL go figure! That's why I bust butt on the elliptical or bike or Arc Trainer, I don't seem to have that problem, and still I get to burn a ton of calories. I'm proud of you Lotstolose, you'll get rid of that double chin in no time, just don't give up on it!!! GOOD LUCK TO YOU!! And HAPPY NEW YEAR!

First I would like to say Happy New Year to everyone. Today and yesterday I was up by 6 hitting the pavement. Yesterday I dragged myself up this hill that makes you just want to roll down it. Today I actually went jogging and wow what a differance not doing anything for three months can make on a person. My throat still hurts from coughing. But I did it and I'm going to do it again.
It's a new year and I'm ready for the "real" me to come out of this shell. I can do it and I know I have to. Big things are going to happen this year I just don't want to be big for it. lol Good luck to all the people who have stuck behind me. xoxo:hurray:
 
Now that's the motivation and positive thinking I like to READ! YOU GO GET EM' GIRL!! And I know what you mean about running and coughing for hours afterwards, what's up with that anyways. LOL LOL the same thing happens when I run also, it's like a coughing spell with a tickle in my throat, OIY!! the troubles of working out, some times it's just not fun. LOL LOL
