Hey so I'm new to this but im definately not new to trying to lose weight. I have always been active and was a jock in high school so I've never gotten that heavy. I used to hover around 145-140. Well 2 yrs ago my high school grad was coming up so i got into the weight loss mode and got to 135. I fit in my dress and was very happy. I entered university very proud of my body and fairly fit.
Well that all changed. I lived in residence at my university and that means junkfood and binge drinking. Well long story short I ballooned to 165. I'm 5'5" so that did not look good on me.
i entered that summer with newfound drive to get back down to 135. i watched what I ate and lost some weight. I came back to school and stayed good in the sense that I didn't gain anymore weight but no major movements in a downward direction.
Anyways mid february I decided to kick it up a notch and began working out 3 times a week since then Ive upped it to 5 or 6 times a week. I usually do 30 mins of cardio(usually running or elliptical) and just recently Ive tossed in an ab routine 3 times a week
The thing is I don't own a scale and I abhore scales. The last time I weighed myself was at 165. I judge my progress by how i fit into my clothes and how i look. I fit into my "skinny" jeans again and my clothes fit way better
I still have a ways to go though to reach my ideal weight and fitness.
Weight Goal!
There is this music festival called Big Valley Jamboree and I want to look smoking for it. I hope to be a size six (I'm a 8-10 now). My end goal weight is 126.
Fitness Goal!
Attending a wakeboarding event at the end of july and want to hopefully wear a bikini!
