Gloves vs Barehands

I use workout gloves.. they make me workout harder in fashion! I hate working out and haivn gmy palms feeling like they're gonna rip into pieces. I'm thinkin of getting new gloves. HOw often do you get new gloves? I have used them over 5 months approximately now. They're worn out and very smelly because i accidnetally spilled some rotten cranberry juice on them. HORRIBLE smell. But they're so comfortable!!! It's like having broken-in jeans for your hands.

and how in the hell would you spill spoiled cranberry juice on your gloves??? Why is spoiled cranberry juice around your workout equipment.. let alone spoiled and not disposed of?

yea be a man, but dont be stupid...

another famous quote i like kinda... if ur dumb u gotta be tuff... (thats just if your dumb.. you can be smart and tuff, u dont gotta be though.. LOL)

I only use gloves for push exercises. On pulls, it widens the bar and actually makes it more difficult.

The only exercise I would concievanly use gloves for, nowadays, is chins.

Muscleboy...workout gloves don't protect the knuckles. If Drag0n wanted to do knuckle pushups in his gloves so he could "punch harder," he could.

I never thought a decision to wear gloves changes your sex by default. Anyway, I'm a poor college kid and I think gloves would be a good investment sometimes but I don't fool with it. The only thing that really tears up my hands are pullups and lat pulldowns. The pullup and lat pulldown bars at the gym are horribly spikey, they tear the **** out of my hands. Your hands can eventually adapt, it just takes awhile depending on what you work out with and what tears them up.

i use fingerless workout gloves on push and pull exercises. Do whatever feels comfortable, but work outside your comfort zone when it comes to weight training.

I love my calluses, when you shake hands with somebody you just met and they feel those they get an idea that you are tougher than you actually are.

I play guitar too though so I am used to having some on the end of my fingers and I bat gloveless as well.

I just can't seem to get the right feel with gloves on.
