Getting past the struggle...

Yeah, last week was a disaster, can't dwell on the past, just get better. Here I go.

work out on the daily (lots of free time for this)
chill out

Hello All,
It has been about 11 months since I first started my journey and I am ready to keep pushing. 11 months isn't a lot on the grand scale of life but it feels like it. I have not really spent much time exercising or taking true care of my body like i used to.

BUT! I guess its time for all of that to end. I have spent many meaningless hours pretending like I care when I don't. Yeah, its sad, and somewhat deceiving, but whatever. I guess we all just get tired sometime and I have been dead tired lately.

So, I have to take charge and figure this all out.

Within the past 5 or 6 months I have been teetering between 147-138 but thats because sometimes I work out and sometimes I don't. Sometimes I eat well and other times I don't. It's all just too much. What I am going to do is get a plan and stick to it.

Looking back, when I first started it was just eat right and exercise, thats it. No finding alternatives, no short cuts, just eating right and exercising. So here is where it all starts all over again.

I am going to make this fun and not painful. I deserve it. I deserve to meet my goal and I deserve to treat my body like a temple.

So in this upcoming week I am starting anew. I will plan my meals out the night before (or 2 days before), go running after work, drink 14-20 cups of water a day and stop eating unnecessary things.

This also applies to the rest of my life. Time to cut out the unnecessary and get straight to the point. No more bullshit, no more playing around. Time to get real and do what I need to. I just have to push it all out for this semester and then it will be a little easier.

Life is good

I was doing it wrong the whole time!!!! I upped my calories and made a steady workout plan and viola the tummy is starting to go away and the thighs are starting to melt.

I did some research on starvation mode and figured out why I can't lose weight. I eat too little or too much and workout either too much or too little it is all about finding an equilibrium so the body can continue with it's weight loss. Geez, I can't believe did that to myself for so long. Now I am only trying to lose about a half a pound a week. I am happy with that as long as it gets me where I'm going.
