Monday, 6/15/09

"off day" - supposed to be an "on" day - but no freakin time today!!! :(

900am - breakfast
4 oz fight/light blueberry yogurt
1 bottle water

1200pm - lunch
calamari and shrimp
ton of steamed veggies
1 L water

300pm - snack
couple of peanuts
1 bottle water

630pm - snack
couple bites of wheat bread
couple sips of water

no time for din-din for me :(

100am - bed

How many calories do you think you are averaging a day? Just a guesstimate... unless you know for sure. I wouldnt shave TOOOO many calories off unless you can afford some!!!

I average anywhere from 1100-1400 depending on how hungry I am.... I know sometimes I go over the cals if I have a cocktail or something.... but my body needs to get shocked. Remember, my body was used to NOT eating... and my metabolism was sooooooooo slow... so now that my body is finally USED to eating, now I think I can adjust... probably drop my cals now... then increase them to 1600 or so........ then on my workout days, increase them even more.. see what that does to my body.

My stomach has remained totally flat, no bloating. I feel good, everything fits... no scale weight gone yet though.... dont really care, but Its time to start actually dropping some inches! I feel more toned and mush less flabby, but Im pretty sure its SUCH a slow process this time around, since I'm doing this so much healthier than before. So stay tuned!
 
isnt it awesome when you start feeling more toned and less flabby!!! :) I know after about 10 lbs... i didnt duck and hide whenever my boyfriend would walk in on me in my underwear LOL.....


because typically... i dive for cover.







what am i talking about... I STILL DO!!!!!! but you do have more confidence!:blush5:
 
isnt it awesome when you start feeling more toned and less flabby!!! :) I know after about 10 lbs... i didnt duck and hide whenever my boyfriend would walk in on me in my underwear LOL.....

turkey bacon sammy
side salad, no dressing
1 bottle water

330pm - snack
couple of peanuts
1 bottle water

630pm - snack
veggie burger, no bun
couple slices of green peppers
1 bottle water

1000pm - bed

of course you will!!! Are you eating alot of salt? If so maybe you are just retaining water most days? do you drink water like nobodys buisness too? In my opinion... you should feel like you have to pee about every 30 minutes or so... thats how i know i drank enough water that day. Just a thought... it really does make a difference.

Your food intake looks wonderful though... you are doing well from what you have on there. Just hang in there. I have a feeling that once you start losing it will fly off... its just going to take a few days or weeks... but it will happen!

2.5 mile run

I lost 1 pound :toetap05: its been a month.... i fit in a size 6 now though, I still wear my size 8 pants but they are really loose... but still... 1 pound? :rant:


ok anyway, I normally dont care about scale weight...

I have SERIOUSLY been slacking in the diary visits! :( I have been way too busy at work!! I promise to visit more once I get my head screwed on straight again

I am SUCH A slacker this summer. It's been a very crappy 3 weeks and I haven't been as good at eating well as I should. I've been hitting the gym pretty hard - it's all about stress release baby! :)
 
Hey girl! Congrats on the size 6 pants!!! now THAT is what really matters... at least you can see that as a result of your exercise... sometimes it just works that way!!!! many weeks all i saw as results were the inches that i lost.... i do measurements EVERY Wednesday.... and i chart it. i suggest that... totally helps on those weeks you dont lose pounds!!! are you using the same scale all the time? wonder if it needs a new battery hehe..... 1 lb seems odd... esp with all the work you are doing!!!

keep up the hard work and the effort!!! good things come to those who wait!!! hehehehe i know i know... i need to shut the eff up!!!

I havent been eating as strictly as Id like to, either... but I've def been hitting the gym. I need to buckle down - I dont know if I can hit a size 4 by August!!!!

yea! i use the gym scale, and i lost 1 lb!! and i weighed myself again on saturday, and i lost another 1/2 lb, but come on! its been a month!!!!!!!!!!!! :banghead: telling you i will be the heaviest size 4 when all is said and done. I mean, i know i have a ton of muscle, but COME ON

anywho.... thanks for the support, hopefully your awesome gene aura will rub off thru the computer onto my body and i'll shrink faster :p
 
This past weekend I ran out of food and $$, so I ate weird things... crackers and pb for lunch one day, sushi for dinner, green beans the next... very weird but hey at least i ate :p

I also went kind of crazy at the gym on Saturday. I usually do am cardio, but instead I went around 2pm, did a full body crazy circuit training workout, squats, lunges - all with a 20-30 lb barbell, standing good mornings at a 40 lb bb, skullcrushers and rope pulldowns at 25 lbs, did crazy seated leg presses at 135 lbs (i am getting super strong), and hip abducts and adducts at 80 lbs. rows and lat pulldowns were at 45, all were personal bests.

Not to mention I ran at 6.5 for 2 miles straight, which is VERY unlike me... and I still had energy, but had to leave the gym... i was there for 3 hours! I know, Im weird.

And now my body is broken and I cant move :p but hey, its all good. I still have weird foods today, prob wont be able to grocery shop for a couple of days, so Im eating whatever I can get my hands on.... whatever HEALTHY things i can get my hands on.. ;)

I do stuff like that every now and again too. I'll get stale, then I'll break it up by doing totally different exercises or changing it up big time. I'll do 3x5 lat pulldowns at 200+, the next time I'll put like 120 on it and do a couple sets of 15 or 20 instead to break it up.

Can't run worth diddly though... never really could

I like that sore feeling the next day too, tells me I stressed the muscles and they are recovering.
