Getting Cut

Ok guys. I just lost alot of weight. Went from 170 to 130. Now I want to get cut. Not Bulky, but cut (tom cruise style ect.) I want to have good sized arms and a nice chest. I don't want to eat 2000 or calories though because I don't want to gain my weight back. I have just a little bit of fat left but nothing bad at all. What's a good eating and workout plan someone could put me on? Im 16 and 5'4.

MONDAY: UPPER

TUESDAY: LOWER

WED: OFF

THURSDAY: UPPER

FRIDAY: LOWER

SAT/SUN: OFF

Upper/lower is a good split, but based on this quote it sounds like you probably lost the weight in an unhealthy matter. How long did it take you to lose the 40lbs and what was your diet like during?

So if a person is a little bit chubby still they can get cut by eating more and working out? Gaining muscle burns fat to right? Sorry im asking so many questions, I just want to do it right this time. haha

yes, lean muscle requires calories to maintain the muscle. so the more muscle mass you have, the more you have to eat to keep the muscle.

I lose weight if I only eat 2,000 calories a day. So unless you're 5'4", I think you lost your weight in an unhealthy manner...probably lost a fair amount of muscle along with the fat.

to have the cut, chisled muscle look, you need low bodyfat, and enough muscle to make it look good. otherwise you just look scrawny.
def. read the weight training 101 section.
Dr. John Berardi, Ph.D. is a good place for nutrition info, though it can be a little hard to understand if you don't know anything at all about nutrition to start with. if you know the basics of calories, carbs/fat/protein, then you'll understand him.
