Get Fit or Die Tryin'...

Did I honestly forget about my diary? Who does that? Yet I log on to catch up with everyone elses diary.

Anyhow, my scale is not broke. I put a 10 lb weight on it and rebalanced it because somehow it got off balance. Then when I weighed myself again (after it said that God awful 134), I was back down to 127. That was last week and I haven't weighed myself since. Maybe I will tomorrow.

I bought Turbo Jam last week, although it just came in the mail yesterday! I did the Fat Blaster DVD and the Ab Jam DVD yesterday. I think I might do Booty & Ab Sculpt here in a few minutes. I'm kind of sore from yesterday though. I wonder how long it takes to see results...it's Day 2 and I want them, ha! Talk about impatient! I've also been running about 4 miles daily outside. My work schedule is hectic, so I do what I can.

Hopefully I remember to write in this more often...:)
 
Hello Shep, I was actually wondering if you had a diary on here...I'd never seen it until this evening. ;) Now that I have....hahaha Watch Out! *jokez*

I've watched a few of those info-commercials about Turbo Jam, looks like a heck of alot of fun!!

hi RunningGirl! of course i have a diary...it's the thing to do these days! now if only i could remember to write in it...

turbo jam is interesting to say the least. i hope it works! i'm sure i've got a ways to go to see results, but we'll see. it's like tae-bo on crack, lol. some of the moves get a little crazy for me, since i'm ridiculously uncoordinated...so i just dance around like a fool for those few moments until it's over. it's fun though! i wish i had a mirrored gym in my house so i could see me making an ass out of myself...i'd probably laugh for hours and get a good ab workout at least! :)
 
hi everyone!! (well, hopefully someone out there is reading this besides me)

i fell off the radar again, as we all do from time to time, but had a few free minutes tonight and thought i'd check in and see how everyone's doing, in life and weightloss, since i'm really out of the loop.

last time i was on here i weighed 127. i know i shouldn't be making excuses but due to my hectic work schedule i didn't go to the gym much in the month of may and when i weighed in the monday after memorial day...i was 133! ugh. i had enough of that! so i've been eating right (or trying to) and working out in attempts to lose 10 lbs by the 4th of july. i weighed in today at 126...7 lbs. i'll take it! so by labor day maybe i could hit somewhere under 120.

i know that i could've hit my goal if i would've cut out the pizza, wings, and ice cream. i'm allowed to pick two of them and have them once a week. so i normally save ice cream for sunday night cause that just starts my week off right...i know i have to go to the gym monday morning if i ate ice cream sunday night! but even though i have had pizza OR wings, i don't eat like 12 slices and 2 dozen wings...moderation. only eat til i'm full, which doesn't take much anymore.

i bought a new pair of jeans. the brand is silver. i've seen it before, but never owned a pair. when i tried them on in the store a 30 was too big and a 28 was a bit tight. not like tight with overflowing muffin top and they look like i painted them on. i bought the 28...motivation!! they were out of size 29, which would've been perfect. i don't remember my hips being this wide ever. that'd be great if they'd just shrink to like 34".

my gym is closed tomorrow...boooo! i'm going to try to get a mini workout in in the morning at home, then i'm off to annapolis, maryland for the weekend for some fun in the sun (ugh, swimsuit)...some beer (light beer), some crabs (the kind you eat, not the std), and jet skiing!

enough of my rambling...how is everyone out there in fitness land? hope you all have a happy 4th of july!! ahhh, picnics are the devil. :)
 
good morning everyone! hope your 4th of july weekends were fun and i hope we all stayed on our diets! ha

actually, my weekend in annapolis didn't go too bad, eating wise.

on friday night, we went out to dinner...we had like picky appetizer type foods...shrimp, mussels, nachos, and chicken wings. i had some nachos and one chicken wing, which isn't good, but the seafood is steamed, and not bad for you. of course, i had beer...blue moon (probably 5). i stuck to my diet earlier on in the day though.

saturday, i had toast for breakfast, when everyone else ate a huge breakfast. we missed lunch because we were on the jet skiis, but pulled into one of the restaurants at the bay while we were on the jet skiis. i had the steamed shrimp again because picking crabs is too much work for my liking. then i had some bud light lime (3)...at least it was light beer! dinner i had grilled salmon, a small bit of rice pilaf, and asparagus...followed by a small ice cream cone!

sunday, i had an egg and piece of toast for breakfast, 1/3 of subway turkey sub w/ veggies, no cheese, no dressing for lunch, and a salad and slice of pizza and a coke for dinner.

all in all, this weekend could've turned out reeeeally bad...but it didn't. i should've skipped the beer, but i only drink like once or twice a month, so that'll probably be it until august.

now, i'm off to the gym. yesterday, i did some abs, walked a mile on the incline, and did legs/triceps. i'm finding that lifting is doing me better than just running...it might not take away the lbs, but it takes away inches, which is better. i plateau at a weight for awhile, like a week or so, then drop one or two. i'm not complaining!! i have the day off today, so i'll probably spend like 2 hours at the gym.

I'm just giving you trouble for not posting in your diary very often. ;) I saw you post in another thread. Just wondering how you are doing. I think you look great in the 120 to 130 range. I actually like those pics the best. I'm talking about the ones in your album. Have you ever thought about just focusing on measurements and not weight so much? I think you would do great with a focus on fitness and less focus on weight loss. Just my opinion. You look really good either way. Let us know how things are going.
