Geovicsha's Diary - New Years Resolution.

I'll check tomorrow, it's rather late (3am) but yes killer ab workouts from you would be great!

I need to take muscle maintenance as just as serious as losing weight from now on.

I don't get bored with exercises. I like sticking to the norm, creating a habit and I have a dumbbell so yeah. I seriously want a lot of dumbbell exercises. I found this

What are some ab workouts Amy?

I always forget about time zones...Here it's sunday morning. :)

I love relaxing weekends...nothing better than sit on the couch and watch a movie with my boyfriend after a super busy week.

That's a perfect workout routine. Don't forget to warm up with a light jog or something before to get your muscles ready. Don't stretch cold, ever. Only after warmups and at the end of workouts. You will pull or damage muscles easier if you try yo stretch them cold then work them out. TRUST ME. Nursing pulled or torn muscles in not fun at all. I torn some muscles doing leg presses and it was BRUTAL.

I'll get you those ab workouts later today, I am about to go work on our landscaping in the yard so I have a busy day ahead of me. Plus, I have visuals in a file on my computer I want to find for you. These moves work your abs so hard it will hurt to breathe the day after! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!

Haha, well once again it's Monday so the weekend is officially over due to timezones, as India mentioned. :D

So don't do the workouts after the major jog, have a small light jog? What does stretch cold mean?

Enjoy the landscaping, and thanks for the ab workouts. :)

That means stretching your muscles while they are cold or you haven't had a warmup. A light jog for five minutes should warm them up for stretching.

Check this out:

Ah, thanks Amy. Is doing the dumbbell weights after the major jog still an effective approach?

Sorry guys I've bene busy the last couple of days and thus haven't been able to have daily diary entries. That doesn't mean I've been slacking off with the fitness and diet. Quite the opposite, my jogs are becoming much more frequent that it's become an noverwhelming majority of jogs in contrast to the walking/power walking. The 10 day holidays start tomorrow (that was fast!) so that shall be fun. And by holidays I mean "study break". Haha.

Hi Shannon!
How's your "study break" going?

I akways meant to ask you but always forgot: is that in your avatar a recent pic of yours? 'cause you look sooo good! And your face definitely shows a lot of weight loss!

Hi India.

Well I'm home tonight, I've missed my dad. Yeah, that's me on the left. It was taken on Feb 29. Thank you so much! When was your pic taken, you look great. :D

Hi Shannon

I hope that you had a good Easter. It is still Easter Monday here - but I expect that it is all over for you.

I havent managed to pop into your diary in ages. I got well behind on everything by going away last weekend - it really messed up my routine.

I have just been catching up on you though. I see that your weight loss has continued to go well. Your team is doing really well in the challenge - you came first in the first week which was a major achievement. It is great that Amy has been looking after you and helping you with your ST. I love the challenges - they really help to keep me focused and make me consider new aspects of my healthier lifestyle.

Take care
Love

Hey Shannon, I forgot to get you some ab workouts. First of all, do you have a medicine ball or a stability ball?

Hey guys! Recorded a new weight loss of 70.0kg after a massive 85 minute workout.

I was so nervous last night due to the fact I had my driving test today, which I passed so I've been driving around lots today. It's crazy driving around by yourself, and I drove around for the first time in night too!

But the nerves really got to me that I lost appetite and felt sick, shortness of breath and heart palpitations. :(

It's all good Margaret, I'm just grateful someone like you pops in my diary at all!

I have to admit I haven't really been focusing much on the challenge this week, trying to pass my driving test (and now succeeding) has sort've been eating away my time. Should get back into it tomorrow now it's all i full swing!

Thanks Margaret!
