Genes

I know genes determine your height and like length of arms legs and width of hips waist chest etc.. but do genes determine how big your muscles become or have a certain cap on your strength?

like when u do weights you get stronger as long as u use heavier and heavier... will that ever stop due to genes?

Genes plays a big role in everything that has to do with the body. So, the most important thing to do is track your progress and when you plateau, shock the living crap out of your body, whether it be changing your diet or workout.

This will usually shoot you through any plateau you reach.

Everyone has a natural limit, few ever reach it. Although some people are fooled by plateaus..

Genes play a huge roll in getting huge. For example I am an ectomorph, it has it's advantages like being able to pour in oodles and gobs of calories and still remaining fairly thin. Ectomorphs are also usually very strong for no more than they weigh. There are downsides though such as never getting that Arnold Schwarzenegger in the Terminator look like a mesomorph could no matter how hard you workout and eat healthy.

In the end we all just need to make the most of and appreciate what we have and have been given. I may never look like the Mr. Universe Arnold but at least I probably don't have to worry about looking like Arnold the Governor either. :D
