Hi fellow members!
My name is Leona and this is my first post.
I have a friend who've I've known since high school. We both have always had weight problems, a few years ago I was doing really well and lost about 90 lbs. She struggled but was just not able to lose much weight.
About a year ago she got a gastric sleeve. She literally isn't even recognizable anymore. She is so thin and she just looks fabulous. She said she had a lot of pain the first two weeks after the surgery but everything was fine for her afterwards.
So I'd love to hear more about it from anyone who can share. I'm definitely considering it but I just want to know things and I have a ton of questions, such as:
How does it effect your eating
Can you just restrict your eating significantly to get the same results?
How painful is painful regarding the surgery
Complications?
It seams that as I got older I just can't lose weight like I was able to in the past, which is normal, I'm 43 years old.
