Sport gaining wieght

Sport Fitness
gain weight, involves proper nutrition and yes. eating a surplus amount of calories then you would need to maintain your current weight.

take this test and w/e # comes out, eat 500-1000 calories more in a day

Yeah, eat a lot of calories a day, what Joey said sounded accurate, just make sure that you are seperating them into 6-8 meals/day as well.

you wanna eat 10-20% over your daily maintenance, and hit the weights to add lean mass.

if you just 'eat everything' you'll put on more fat than muscle, and then you'll have to cut back down again...

mm.. I am eating a lot more, plus I am consuming protien bars ? (which contains about 15 g to 25 g of protien each) do you Think I can pull it off? I swim, and do wieghts a lot...

As for the meals, I usually eat one in the morning, two in afternoon, and two during the night time...

I acctually really like the Met-rx Big 100 bars.
They taste great, I'd rather eat one of these than a choc bar.

nutrition - serving size 100g
protien - 32g
fat 14g
carbs 43g

They are really great for a quick fix on the way out of the gym. however they are expensive and as Malkore said, eat real food as much as possible.

all i know, is no protein bar has ever tasted as good as this bowl of chicken breast cubed, mushrooms, and onions, in a light soy sauce marinade.

Stuff your face 7 times a day until you're about to throw up. You'll burn out tracking calories on a bulk. Just make sure you get 40-50g of protein at every meal and you'll be good.

If you're really serious about getting size, don't worry about body composition.

Very true.

Grilled chicken breast in a bun with spinach and red peppers goes down pretty well after a workout.

Kevbo - 40-50g with every meal!!!!?????

Thats a bit extreme. a lot of that would turn to fat. If your not huge already then 25-30g will be fine.

I am 140 lbs, and 5'10 . 19 years old.

On other notes, I lost wiegh again. I went from 140, to 138 lbs :(
I Do not know what I am doing wrong, I am eating as much as I possible could, swimming, plus wiegh training, (everything I do , I start of with 15 reps, then heavier wieghts of 10 reps, and then even heavier of 5 reps)

Weight

If you just started be serious about your workout, then your weight will go up and down for a bit. Your body isn't used to the work. Also, weight yourself without clothes in the morning after "relieving" yourself to get your true weight. And don't eat before weighing yourself. Your body may just be losing fat faster than your gaining muscle which is perfectly normal, just wait. Time heals everything.
