Gained all my weight back and more....Starting over

Hello!! I have been a member of this site since 2006 I think?? Anyway! Back in 2006 I started out at 214 pounds, and lost a lot of weight with me end weight being 147.5. I started at a size 16 and ended at a size 8. I was so happy. Then I met my boyfriend in 2008 and we've been together ever since...which resulted in my weight ballooning up to 224 pounds...and back to a size 16 pants. I couldn't be more disgusted with myself!!! I feel like a loser and all my hard work in the past didn't do anygood for I have gained all my weight back and MORE.

So now that I am in a relationship it is very hard to eat well and exercise since my boyfriend can eat whatever he wants and not gain any fat. We always go out to eat too.

So just last week (Oct. 17th) I decided I was going to be DONE with fried foods. I always ate at fast food joints, and every meal i had consisted of something like chicken fingers, french fries, chips, and other fried junk...but mainly chicken fingers and french fries (it was my favorite meal).

I am just doing this for a little kickstart...I know I will soon need to start adding some exercise to my routine and a little other changes in my diet. But since I stopped eating fried foods, I feel so much better! I am only going to be weighing in on Sunday mornings so I don't get discouraged. I know the numbers will only be small since I am not exercising at the time.

This past Sunday I weighed in at 221.4 which was a 2.6 pound loss. I was very happy with this! Considering I am still eating exactly how I did minus the fried junk.

I always have cereal for breakfast, either raisin bran, frosted mini wheats, or honey nut cherrios. I also like the Special K cereals but am out of those right now.

I knew I wanted to start using this site again because it really helped me to lose 70 pounds before, and now I am going to need it again to help me lose.

My goal weight for now is to be back in the 100's. So when I get to 199, I will be happy and then set a new goal.

Your story sounds exactly like mine except I'm the male in the relationship that gained all the weight back while my girlfriend stays thin and has self control. I've been a member since 2008 and logged back in today for the first time. Went from around 210 in 2008 to 155 (in 6 months) and now back up to around 220 somewhere in good ole 2010. Let's get skinny again!

Wow this is awesome to hear somebody have basically the same story!!! Hopefully we can the lose weight again...

Thanks!! I sure do want to tackle it again...Hopefully I can fit back in my size 8's again!
 
I wish I'd ever been in size 8s LOL!! What kind of weight do you think yuo'll have to get to to be that size again? I'm interested because looking at your BMI, we must be quite a similar height. I was a size UK 18 just... when I was 220 and now I'm a UK 14-16 (I think you add on 2 to get to US sizes).
