Is Michigan having a terrible season or what? I hope Rich Rod is successful in QB recruiting for next season. I'm optimistic, though, b/c his record in WV the first year was like 3-9 and then the team came back the next year and had a really good season. Hopefully next year will be MUCH better.

Hope all is going well for ya. Has he proposed yet??

Sorry I've been MIA!

I slacked for a bit, but I have found my motivation again! That said, I am making a kick ass homemade lasagna tonight! Oops! It's a new recipe I've been dying to try, and tomorrow is a new recipe for homemade pancakes! I only try new recipes on the weekend, and it's only once a month if that. It keeps James and I from destroying all healthy progress! :)

James hasn't proposed yet. Part of me thinks he's waiting for when we visit my family on Thanksgiving. We're closer than ever before, so I'm really happy with where we are!

Speaking of... Sam!!!! I'm happy for your newfound romance! As I said... I read the surveys! :)

I don't have a boyfriend anymore!!! I now have the best FIANCE in the world!

Here's how it happened:

I got home and noticed James's truck wasn't here. He's always home before me, so I thought it was strange. But at the same time, I figured that he may have stayed after school to get started on his basketball program.

I walked though the door, and I immediately see rose petals, Hershey Kisses and Hugs, and 4 cards lined up in the doorway. What did I do? Grab the camera! :D

I stopped and read each card as I was trying to catch my breath. I was thinking, "Why did he do all of this and then leave?!"

As I got to the last card, he came out all dressed up. He said a lot of sweet things, then got down on one knee!!! It was the most romantic moment of my life.

He went to so much trouble!!! He had to leave work early, he had to stop by several stores, he parked his truck a street away to hide it from me, he got all dressed up, he had a chair set up in the computer room so he could wait for me (then hide!)... he truly made this the absolute most special moment of my entire life.

I still can't believe it!!!! We're ENGAGED!!!!
