Hi, everyone! Today I weighed in and I saw the biggest numbers which I have ever seen. So, I am 27 and I am struggling to lose weight. I was fat for my entire life, but now I reached the worst point. My first goal is to lose 30 pounds (I weigh 213, but I'm just 5'3). My plans are:
1. To exercise for at least 30 min a day
2. To eat healthy (many vegetables and plant-based food)
3. To stop overeating
4. To love myself the way I am

I really need your help! I will try to write what I eat in a day and if you have some advices for me, I am looking forward to hear it☺️

And sorry English isn't my native language so I probably do many mistakes

Hi future cupcake. I think your plan seems like a good one. I'm glad you have included "To love myself the way I am." It helps if you are positive. Your English is good, so no need for apologies. Welcome to the weight loss forum. Cheers, Cate.

Thank you! Today was so beautiful day and I could feel spring coming because sun was shining all day. Also I didn't overeat and I ate pretty clean I think:
Breakfast: bowl of oatmeal with almond milk
Snacks: 3 big apples and 2 dried figs
Lunch: chicken breast with 1 sweet potato, salad and tomato sauce
Snacks: handful of nuts
Dinner: buckwheat with sun dried tomatoes

Thanks! Today I also ate normally. But I have problem with exercising. I don't have time to workout at the gym and I don't know if it is effective to do it at home. Other problem is that I don't know how to exercise at home. Today I tried to do short workout from YouTube but it was so hard. How did you start exercising? And where do you do it?

Breakfast: 2 boiled eggs with one slice of bread
Snacks: 2 dried figs and mango
Lunch: small bowl of tomato soup with rices; bowl of cynva salad with cherry and dried tomatoes
Snacks: 3 slices of homemade banana bread
Dinner: tortilla with tomatoes, avocado and chicken

Exercise is one of my downfalls, but would you believe that I lost a lot of weight just by eating right? If you find exercise is difficult to get into, try to focus on the food first. Get your food choices under control and in a routine, and then slowly incorporate the exercise. You don't want to stress yourself out, at least, that's how I did it.

Try going for walks, as it's free, easy, and even just 30 min of walking a day can help a lot. At home you can do many kinds of work outs if you have youtube, there's cardio kick-boxing, dancing, tae bo, or just something simple like yoga. If you're unsure, though, find a way to just walk around the house or take advantage of the sun and spring-like weather!

Good luck, and keep posting!
