From alpha testing to the QUERCUS 200

It's do nice to drop back in and find all this great support. Thank you all so much! So I'm back in the 250s again which is progress. I had my first pain med free day yesterday, but then it decided to fire up last night about 2am. Oh well the break was nice. The streak still lives and I'm fighting the good fight with food.

Yay for progress on both the pain meds and the pounds. I´m sure your body is glad to have some decent building blocks with which to battle the back trouble. I raise my glass (ok, it´s a can, but it contains highest quality Czech beer) to your health.

Thanks for popping in Q. Hopefully, the pain-free day is a sign of things to come. Also glad you're back in the 250's xoxo

Hi everybody! I've done terribly with my weight. 273 this morning with a previous low of 245. My back is still the bane of my existence. I'm getting back on track with calories while trying to ramp up my activities gradually. Today is day 684 of the run streak so I have that going for me. I'm going to try to post at least once a week.

Thanks for checking in on me. I hope everyone is doing super!

28 lbs up in 6 months isn´t half as bad as it might have been considering pain, meds and frustration. I´m guessing 5+ of those pounds are water anyway, so if you can get back to your normal, healthy eating (how are the allergies doing?) you´ll soon be back on track weight-wise.
Good to have you back; best of luck with your back!

Thank you LaMa!

267.8 from 273.4 yesterday for a 6.6 pound drop in a day. So I would say I was carrying a bit of water weight. ;)

Helloo Sunnyy.

Thanks Cate!

265.8 this morning after a 2.64 mile run last night for day 686 (I think ). The official goal is 198 by runstreak day 1,000. That's about 1.5 pounds a week average from today's weight. 7.6 lbs of the 75.4 lbs lost since Monday.

Just wanted to let you know that I'm going to start my own streak on Monday. I've found a lot of inspiration by your drive and determination to stick to your running streak. And, even though you've had a minor setback recently, you've done absolutely amazing overall. I want that. I want that success. I want that accomplishment. I want others to be proud of me just like we're all proud of you.

Kudos, man. You've been killing it for two years now and you're coming up on 1,000 days in a row of running. INCREDIBLE. Absolutely incredible.

You inspire me, Q. And, others as well. Thanks for that.

Thanks Cowboy! With friends like you I'll make it.

Wow Chef, I'm ecstatic for you! It won't be easy at first, but before you know it the streak is part of you. It's also such a huge motivator to know my streak makes sense to somebody on the outside. Take it easy at first. You have to ease into it to adapt to the daily work. Once a slow mile is an easy rest then you're set. You can do this!

3 miles for day 687.

I plan on taking it slow. I'm going to push myself but I'm not going to kill myself either. I'll start slow and ease my way into pushing myself harder and harder, working on running longer distances, sprinting faster, etc. Easy does it though. I got time.
