From alpha testing to the QUERCUS 200

My plan isn´t as precise either, but that´s because I know myself and I´ll end up giving up completely when I feel overwhelmed. Other people work better with really challenging challenges. Good luck to Q (and E too, which makes y´all sound very British).

Great plan Q and thank you for joining the Challenge! I always feel like the more people I rope into my hair brained ideas the better I manage to pull them off. Your goals are awesome, makes me rethink my activity plans, maybe I need to add something to that for myself.

Awesome plan Q! You may not be making the progress you want, but progress is still progress, great job!
I like the idea of consequences for not hitting your goals every week. Something perhaps I should think about to help motivate me...
Good luck on your November goals!

Awesome! Thanks everybody for the support! November is going to be a great month with all of us working together.

So I stuck with my 1 mile recovery run the last two days and I will do it again today. I will have to see how my knees feel after that. They are improving. No food after dinner last night and my weight bounced back up yesterday morning. I've decided not to drink until Thanksgiving (27th) to help my weight and recovery along. I doubt 248 is possible by Saturday, but if it popped up that quickly maybe it will go down just as fast.

Fingers crossed for the scales. Glad to hear your knees are doing better! I don´t normally drink a lot of alcohol but today I´m very glad not drinking isn´t part of my november plan...

November is looking to be a good month for our WLF community. Lots of support & encouragement & real connection. Glad your knees are starting to recover Q. 2 weeks off golf while we were away made me realise it's golf that is making me hurt. I'm not sure what I can do about that, except try to do more warm-ups. Hope the scales do behave for you, xoxo Cate

Thanks LaMa and good plan!
Warm up should help Cate. I'm pretty excited how the momentum is building around here.

The knees feel good today, the scale went down a good bit too. I did my mile and 40 bodyweight squats to catch up on Tru's challenge. I may add that to the plan if the knees still like it by week's end.

I'm on plan 100%.

Woohooo! My legs won´t stand for a squat challenge while they´re not fully adjusted to biking yet but properly performed they´re an amazing tool.

Thanks LaMa!
Thanks Stacy!

So I woke up closer to a new low, but I'm still up from last Saturday. I'm being super stingy with my portions and I'm ramping the running back up while doing my squats.

Ran a fast 2 miles last night and did the minimum 20 squats.

Tonight will be tricky as I am too hungry and have to run before dinner.

Lots of exercise(for me that means golf) leaves me absolutely ravenous & at risk of devouring everything in sight. I'm glad your knees are holding up to your challenges Q. "Hungry for a new low." I like it! xoxoC

Thanks Cate!
I managed a 1.55 mile run and 20 bw squats yesterday. No change on the scale this morning. Doing super with food but I'm starving at the moment.

Q, I can't believe it's almost time for me to start thinking about the holiday run streak and you're still going strong from last year. Unbelievable!

Thanks Oaks! I have a hard time believing it myself sometimes.
Thanks LaMa! Yep I've run a minimum of 1 mile every day since late November 2014.

So I'm back to my all time low of 248.8 this morning! I'm much smaller than I was the last time I hit it so that is worth something. I'm hoping for a new low in the morning. I just have to remember at 4AM when I get up to go deer hunting. I have to admit that I don't plan on shooting anything as I've lost the taste for even wild game. I may change my mind in the moment, but I think I will try to take pictures.

Thanks Stacy! Enjoy your weekend too!

So a mile and 20 bw squats as I was pooped from walking up steep rough slopes all day doing dam inspections.

Back to your low of 248.5? WOOT!!! Here's to new lows Q! I have decided to aim for my original low, rather than stop at 5kg above it as I feel like I can lose quite a bit more than 2 more kg. Some serious weight-loss & great support happening in the WLF forum. GO US!! :D

Go us indeed, and certainly go Q! Getting so far down the healthy, natural way, all while building muscle (or you wouldn´t be smaller than last time, right?) is incredible :grouphug:

Thanks Cate! I like the attitude! You'll get there!

Thanks LaMa! I guess that's why the weight is so slow to go down. I tried on two different brands of large button up shirts and both of them had adequate room everywhere but the chest. I have pics and I'll upload at some point.

I ran 1.25 miles and did my 20 bw squats as I was super tired after having gone hunting* in the rain at 4 this morning.

*No animals were harmed in this endeavor.

I'm not talking about the @#$%! scale. It was just up a smidge, but SHIT!
