From alpha testing to the QUERCUS 200

Great Job! :hurray:

We are gettin' a break from the rain at the moment.. I didn't think it was ever gonna stop!

The streets are bad. Glad we have the break right now so the water will go down.

How is your area?

Have A Goal Reachin' Friday! :waving:

Thank you so much LaMa, Polly, Cory, and Stacy! How can I not keep rolling along with such great support?

It's still dumping on us here Stacy. I live between Gilmer and Harmony if you're interested in seeing where we are.

Tonight was a modest paced 5K for day 331 and 23.

View attachment 23219 Here is a heaviest to a couple weeks ago comparison.

27:51 5K tonight for day 24 of the 5K streak and day 332 of our runstreak. I'm just below 75 miles run so far this month.

Those photos are incredible Q. I'm certain that you have always been the same lovely man inside we have got to know, but just look at you! You look great! Awesome commitment Q. Love to you & E xoxo Cate

Ow come on man, do you have to heap benchmark upon benchmark on a single page? You´re making me sound like a fangirl! The pictures are still amazing though ;)

Q, those pics are so inspiring! I've been reading your progress in text for the last two years, but nothing brings it home like comparison pics.

Howdy Neighbor! :D You're just a couple of hours away!

Super Awesome Progress!! Be Proud! :hurray: Your Before/After pics are fantastic, thanks for sharing!

They say we are gonna get MORE heavy rain starting Thursday for many and continuing thru weekend. *sigh*

Awesome work! The transformation pics say it all. Huge change! Very Inspriring.

Btw, Are you thinking of doing another simple weight loss challenge ?

All of you are so great! Thanks so much for all the support!

After a slow 5K on Sunday I ran a 27:45 last night on the track. I'm very tired today and I think I will run at a modest pace and get to bed early.

I have not done nearly as well as I wanted this month with my diet, but I know by my clothes that I'm smaller and so I'm hopeful that I will at least be at a new low by the end of the month.

Great plan for this evening. :)

Fitting into smaller clothes is better than going by the scale! :D lol *WooHoo!*

I love it when that happens!

Hi Q. LaMa won the 6kg challenge, so we can have another one. She said it was only for a day, but I say she's the champ :D Kaplooie has come up with what I think is a good plan for a new challenge. It's work out a personal plan for the month of November & stick to it. I'm currently thinking about mine. When I come up with it I'll put it as my signature. Want to be in on it? I'm loving the smaller clothes too. It's a great feeling! Go team :D

Thanks Stacy!

Hi and thanks Cate!

Still hanging on with the 5K streak, but just barely. Last night was a slow run with my knees wrapped followed by lineament and ibuprofen. They hurt again today. I'll be coasting to the finish line on this one.

I'll check out the challenge this weekend Cate.

So for October I went from 253.4 to 249.0. So 4.4 pounds for the month wasn't what I'd hope for, but It's what I did. I hit 248.8 at some point months ago, but I'm wearing smaller clothes than then which is something. I guess I need to be okay with a pound a week or I have to start counting calories again.

I met the miles goal for the challenge I'd singed up for last night and it was gruelling. My knees are killing me. I'm done with the 5K streak at 30 and I will continue the run streak with today being day 339. A slow mile a day until my knees are better.

I´m glad your 5k streak is over, it did sound grueling. Still: you showed yourself (again) that you can do pretty much anything you set your mind to. I think a pound a week is good, healthy progress at this point in your journey, but I can understand that you´d prefer more :) All the best for your knees!

Thanks LaMa! Once I shed some more weight it will be easier to do it again and I plan to.

So I signed on for Kaplooie's challenge for November. Here's what I've lined up for myself.

THE PLAN

Food:
No food after dinner (This is the single biggest factor holding back my weightloss)
No more than one day with alcohol a week

Running:
At least a mile a day (November 27th will be 1 year of the streak)
A new PR for 5K (currently 27:25)
A new PR for distance (currently 6.2 miles)

Weight:
Lose at least 1 pound a week for the first three weeks
November 26th will be family Thanksgiving dinner, 1 year of run streak and time off work. There will be indulgences and I will not avoid them. The goal is to return to the same or lower weight than the Pre-Thanksgiving low by the end of month (4 days).
Lose at least 4 pounds total (249-245) by months end.

Consequences:
For every week that I don't lose a pound there will be no alcohol the following week.
If I don't lose 4 pounds in November (249-245) then I will start December off with counting calories and a 2,200 calories limit until 245.
If I don't hit all 3 running PRs I will post a shirtless photo in my diary.

That's what I've got. I think the food consequences will be handled by my weight and running achievements. Good luck everyone.

Great Plan for November!! ;)

You did great for October as well! :hurray:

I'm also in the Nov. Challenge.. *WooHoo, we will ALL kick tail!* :D

Have A Great Weekend!

What a great plan Q! I'm glad you are going to give your knees a bit of a rest (for you). I may have to re-think my plan as I'm not changing much :blush5: xoC
