From alpha testing to the QUERCUS 200

Glad to hear you had fun. That makes it sound like your body was somewhat usable and not too painful, which is the biggest of all the things. Hope the stress goes down soon!

I made a mistake so it's self-induced stress. I'm new to managing projects and I was looking at the wrong number each month so the budget ran out too soon. I think we are okay, but I have to do better. It's a really big client and I didn't get much guidance or oversight. Sink or swim management and right now I'm paddling like a mofo.

What an... efficient way of handling things. But I´m sure you´ll manage, and paddling=rowing=exercise, right?

Hi LaMa and Cate!

I haven't been feeling or eating too hot still. I have upped my running this month and stuck to the 2 mile minimum. I really want to get my evening overeating in check and lose fat without the scale or calorie counting. On that note, I will give weekly waist (belly) measurements a try for a while.

Today is day 711 of the runstreak and I have 10.35 miles in 5 days as of yesterday. 19 days until the 2 year mark and 289 days until day 1,000. I'll measure my belly today and maybe I can lose a few inches by 1,000.

Two years without missing a day of running is incredible. Even more so with health issues. I have trouble with evening overeating as well, especially the last couple of weeks. But I keep trying and I keep trying to find ways to get the comfort I often look for in high-carb, high-fat food. As long as we stick to our (non-regulated) guns we CAN do this.

I find the more exercise I get the more I want to really overeat. I overcompensate I think. You'll get it right Q xoxo

That is awesome! Way to go. You should be proud of yourself!

Thanks Sharilee! I couldn't imagine it myself until somewhere in the 100s I realized that it was just something I do. Now something will have to prevent me from being able to run for the streak to end.

Cate, my approach is to up the running and then ratchet the calories back down as I adjust to the added running.

Thanks a lot Cowboy!

So I am still making my 2 mile minimum for the month. I cut an hauled some saplings from our woods and used a bowsaw to make firewood. I hauled and stacked what I cut and I modified a pair of saw horses to make a single stable square frame to support the logs. All told I probably spent about 3 hours in moderate to intense activity including the run.

My belly measurement was just below 50 inches midday yesterday. I try to remember to get a morning measure tomorrow. The goal is to get below 40 inches. When I was 349 or nearly that, my belly was 60 inches.

Nice Chef!

My belly measurement was 45 inches this morning, so there is a really big difference between fasted and midday measurements. So first get below 40 inches fasted and then I'll figure out where I need to be to stay under 40 inches at all times.

I'm so ready for this damn election to be over, but I'm scared for the outcome. We've never had poorer choices, but I hope our country has enough reason to vote against hate, misogyny, xenophobia, and racism.

We're scared too. Surely, surely, surely that man couldn't win! ;svengo:

I think most of us are stunned about the outcome

however on a positive note, great news on the shrinking belly, just as mine is about to grow lol

Thanks Tru and CONGRATULATIONS!

Thanks Cate! I'm really working on being positive.

So I have been eating like a pig and working like a dog. I'll get a pic up of my wood hauler tonight. Work is hectic too, but good. The runstreak hits the 2 year mark in 11 days.

No measurement or weight taken since the last post.
