From alpha testing to the QUERCUS 200

Q!! :toetap05:
Stop that negative talkin' right this instant.. You're grounded..;)

:hug2: You are such an inspiration and your progress is mind-blowing.. It took hard work and time to accomplish all that.

I will get back with your re: your punishment. :p

I really was trying not to be negative but he kind of called me out on my dancing around it. I didn't want him to think I was ignoring sound advice or that I wasn't sprinting because it was too hard.

Anywho 2.33 miles tonight for day 448 of the run streak. I'm looking forward to a new low and a new distance PR this weekend. I'll come in well under calories tonight and I did last night too. I felt like crap running because I hadn't eaten a bite in about five and a half hours. Too late to play catch up so under calories it is. I haven't had diner yet so I will have a good helping, but that won't be the 1,045 calories that I have left for sure.

 I'm sorry Q... I got carried away with silliness today..

I was in such a strange mood due to lack of sleep.. o_O

So sorry! :seeya:

No worries here Stacy. I was just offering explainations to you and Baboon. I'm not discouraged by my limitations because I'm overcoming and working around them.

248.4 today

Sorry Q, didn't mean to put you in a negative place. Sprints (like any high-intensity activity) are dead awful for injuries. I'm glad and impressed that you've been able to do daily runs in spite of those injuries. Keep it up!

Not at all Baboon, I come here for advice and it was good advice. I don't mind sharing my shortcomings. I just don't bring them up because they aren't my focus. It's great to have new people around and especially so when they're a runner.

Oh how I WISH I could still run/jog!
Run for me!!
I really do miss it!
I tell ya what, it is going to be VERY HARD for me to NOT WALK at the Park/Trails right now with this beautiful weather...
Once I get my orthotics for shoes, I may try to just see what happens... If I can't, I will miss my 3 mile walks deeply..
Wonder when they will figure out foot transplants? I need that!

Have A Great Night Q! :seeya:

Q, I just read your reflection post from Sunday and I am so proud of you. You have accomplished so much. There are a few people on here I think of when I get discouraged that really help me to remotivate and you're one of them. Keep it up, man.

Poor footsies Stacy! That really stinks. I hope the orthodics will get you going again. You may have to take up swimming or biking.

Cory it's great to see you around. I'm happy I help. Your's is just the kind of encouragement that makes it easy.

2.32 miles and 1,900 calories today. That's 3 days in a row under 2,000 without too much trouble. I wore a jcrew tailored fit xl shirt and a pair of 34 dress slacks that were both rather small for their size. The JCrew shirts I bought December 2014 and this is the first time I've been able to wear them. They were too tight across the chest, but they still didn't fit. The pants were actually a bit lose so I guess I waited a bit too long to try them on again. I have size large button up shirts that will probably fit now. I'll try clothes on this weekend. I saw 4 old coworkers from my previous job at the function I was dressed up for today and all of them complimented me on how good I looked. One lady said "Wow it's great to see you. At least what's left of you." and then gave me a hug. I hadn't seen them since last March. I really don't feel like I've made much progress in that time, but the way they were gushing makes me think they didn't share that opinion. It felt good.

247.4 for a new all-time low this morning. This is the first time I've gone below my rebounded weight before Saturday. Hopefully I'll still have a big drop in the morning before my big run. - 8.6 pounds so far this month.

Happy Friday WLF!

Impressing people you haven´t seen in a while sounds good to me :) And, well, all-time lows are amazing anyway.

It's wonderful being able to fit into slimmer clothes Q & nice to get such a positive reaction from your old workmates.

Thanks LaMa!
Thanks Jen!
Thanks Cowboy!
Thanks LittleJohn!
Thanks Cate!

I ran a hard 2 miles tonight in 17:02 for day 450 of the run streak. I'm debating a snack at 1,800 cals and a growly tummy. Long run tomorrow.

The new low this morning is 246.6 which is 0.8 pound down from yesterday and -1.2 pounds for the week. I had a spotless week of eating and I upped my minimum runs from 1 mile to 2 miles and went above that by a bit on all but 1 day of fast running. The rate of loss has slowed which I knew it would, but -9.4 so far this month and still over 1 pound for this week. I keep everything dialed in and the rate of loss is out of my control. I'm hopeful that I won't rebound into the 250's after this long run, but until I hit 245 I can't be completely sure. The calculated distance for today's run is 10.1 miles. I'm feeling pretty beat up this morning so we shall see.

In 2.2 more pounds I will have lost 30% of my bodyweight since joining WLF in 12/2012. I've lost 26% since 1/2014 when the running started. I actually lost and regained weight in 2013, but the net was 4.6% lost. 29.4% bodyweight lost total. The standard medical advice is that your health improves markedly with a 10% body weight reduction and I'm nearly at the 3x that. It will be 43.3% by 198 so 29.4% bodyweight lost and 13.9% left to lose. 102.6 pounds lost and 48.6 left to lose.

10.1 miles 2:17:32 for day 451 of the runstreak. Just 5 minutes slower than 9.1 miles two weeks ago today. It felt easier too. Sure as hell not easy, but easier. I took a sub 30 second pee break at about 5.5 miles and otherwise ran uninterrupted. I paused the run watch so the time doesn't include the break. E did teh full 10.1 too. I'm super proud of her. We are both pooped.

O wow! 10.1 miles is no small thing: you two are bloody awesome!
