from 297-209 2/3 done

i started about 16 months ago. i was just going to the gym about 3-4 times a week not watching what i ate much. then about 7 months in i got a new job and had no time for the gym so i just started dieting. maybe around 1700 calories a day. and about 4 months ago i moved to japan. ive been really hardcore dieting here. maybe only like 1300 calories a day. but i cheat on weekends. ive lost about 2 lbs a week since i got here 4 months ago. im now down to 209. but i think ive hit a plateau.....but its only my first week without losing weight so i dunno if its really a plateau or not. i want to get down to 170. if i continue at this pace i should be at my goal weight by april. heres some pics of the journey so far.

Man, that's awesome. I bet it feels great to be only 10 lbs away from under 200! I can't wait till it's my turn. How long did it take you? :party:
 
it does feel pretty good...when i stop and look back at old pics...but honestly its hard to even tell sometimes. i hope the next 40 make a bigger difference...and i think they will. however it seems like this is going to only get harder as i havent lost an ounce in like 2 weeks and know i need to get past this plateau now.

That's amazing! Don't let the plateau discourage you, it's like a hump you need to get over. You've done great !!! :D I also can't wait till the day when I see 200 on the scale
 
thanks for all the compliments, people! i can really use the extra encouragement right now.

and yea, i am in the jet program. howd u know? haha. are u in it too? or have friends in it? im loving it so far. im definitely going to recontract and stay for at least one more year.
 
so i got down to 202 last week....and this week ive been working out every morning and making sure my calories are still low. i can def feel the soreness in my abs from all the crunches and leg lifts ive been doing...and i stepped on the scale and it seems like ive gained back 2 lbs....i dunno how this is possible and im worried i plateaued again. is it common to plateau again so soon after breaking one?
 
look,don't care about the 1-2 lbs. just keep your mind on the general view. look at you, this is a huge transformation. you really look good now. And for last week, if you know you did good at your program then it's okey. tiredness, a few degree of temp changes in the climate, or water in the body can cause 1-2 lbs. just stick to the plan and your pictures. great work.
 
great job dude. Hows the skin problem for you? Any extra skin? I was 280 and now i am about 266. Im planning on becoming 170-180 as well. Lets see how long it will take and how it goes for me. :)
