Hi! I'm young, sorry.... In middle school, I was skinny and petite, but in high school I gained 80 pounds. This past year was my senior year, and I decided to get rid of the weight i'd lost. I started dieting and walking last august at 210 lbs. I didn't exercise regularly, and I only lost 14 lbs. by december. Since december, I've lost 46 more pounds. Now, I'm 150 and trying to get to around 130. I'm only 5' 2". It's been extremely easy to loose the weight! Way easier than I expected. I just cut out all the junk food and eating in between meals, and started walking almost everyday for an hour. I've been at a plateau for the past few weeks though, blah. I keep plateauing and then all of a sudden being ten pounds lighter and not even noticing it. Is that odd?

Great Job!

Sounds like you have the right idea about losing weight - Exercise and Eating Right.

You have age on your side - so continue the healthy lifestyle and enjoy the success!

Best Wishes!!!

Good on ya' for taking control of your health and your life at such a young age! Eating sensibly and exercising sensibly is surely the best way to go about it. I was stuck for 3 weeks on a plateau in Sept. just chasing the same stupid one pound around! Grrr:mad: However, I happily weighed in 2 lbs lower this week . At any rate, I can't tell you if it is normal or not to have the plateau thing and then drop a whole 10 lbs (I think that's what you said - I would surely faint dead away if that happened to me! Oh, the sheer JOY of it!)

anyway, you've done a grand job. Enjoy!
cheers from :eh:
