Frode's diary

in addition to the scales it is a good idea to get a measuring tape to take some basic body measurements to track progress.

I don't do the calorie counting anymore, but stick to pretty much the same plan as when I was.

Yesterday my weight was 77.6kg, which means I've lost over 5kgs over the past few weeks. My BMI was 26 when I started, and now it's 24, so as for BMI - I don't really have to lose more weight. I'm within the standards of "normal".

However, I still have some fat on my belly, and I'm far from "settling" with this weight, or atleast this "look". I don't care if I weigh 100kg's, I just want to look better and healthier.

I'm considering starting up a strength training program to maintain/build muscle aswell.

Today my weight is about 76kg. I think I really have to watch out... Never thought I'd lose that many kilos that fast. In fact, I didn't think I would have to lose that many.

Maybe it's a lack of muscle ? I'm not very "strong" in any sense. I will start some light strength training to make sure I don't lose too much muscle.

I feel great, though! I feel thinner than ever, and family and friends always compliment me saying that I look so much better (I never told them I'm trying to lose weight, so they actually see it, it's not just a confidence booster)

:)

Checking in for the last time on this diary.

My current weight is a little below 70 kgs, and I have reached my goal. Now I will maintain this weight while trying to "swap out" muscle with the rest of the fat on my body.

Thanks to all of you who helped me reach this goal :)
