Fresh Start

*UGH* to your weight but hey you know it is only from being sick and meds you will break through it...Can ya dbl up on your water or start taking apple cidar vinager pills, tha tis what i do when my retention builds up so much.

:hug2:I really can relate to your going up and how you feel as you know i go through the same simular things:hug2:

If your on steroid meds they will make you gain weight.. at least they made me gain weight when I was on them and my doc told me to expect a small gain.. I'm sure you'll get through the ups and downs and eventually get only the downs soon!!

fell off face earth and completely off the 'health' bandwagon. Peeps, cadbury eggs, truffles, no bakes oh my...........

any way still on steroids for a couple more days but a low dose so should be manageable going to try and get things back together today. Gained ALOT and rightfully so. Hopefully since I put it on in the course of about a week+ I can take it back off in 2 week+ or so.

The high dose steroids make me so hungry, then also all crazy revved up, cant sleep so then I have to take something to help me sleep then I am too tired to get up, I cant add caffeien during the day despite not sleeping well so then I was tired ate crap, rinse and repeat pretty much. I caved, nothing else to say about that.

Today I have breakfast and lunch packed and a bit extra so if I am starving at least it will be healthy. I couldnt muster energy for a full gym time so I did 30 min jog walk to get back on track.

Weighed in today at 161 so I have some work to do!

ok excercise was good mon/tue but none today, food zero so far, trying for tomorrow and then kick into high gear on friday with low processed low sugar for two weeks to get my blood sugars back in check after the steroids craze.

ok scale says 159.5 today, thats down 2lbs, I assume because the steroids are leaving my system as I havent reallly 'earned' a 2lbs loss.

Jogged 30 minutes today and planned a new 1 week menu starting tomorrow so things are off to a good start.

i hope everything goes well for you!
i am going to be gone for about a
month.. D: sooo that means no more
challenge for me... T_T

but i will keep up with everything!
i hope you hit your goal!!!

hey hun! i havnet talked to you in a while - i hope the challenge is going well for you! :) gosh i dont know why but ive been so lazy lately . well, i DO know why -- but it's so darnnn annoying. I hope your eating/ exercise is going better than mine! :)

andd PS YAY FOR BEING OFF THE STEROIDS! have a great weeekendd darling!

no excercise friday but food was good, I started the sugar weaning process and have the headache to prove it! Whole fam is under weather today and so we are having a 'relaxation day' all PJ's all lounging all day. Let's see how I do with the food............

ok trying for a fresh start here so I have planned my meals for the week. To jumpstart me back to the weight loss wagon I am doing 1 week unprocessed whole grain no added sugar.

everything except dinner will be the same each day and I will add in any detours, I am adding in a second afternoon snack because I know that is my challenging time and if I dont need it so be it.
Breakfast: brocolli egg bake + 4oz veg juice
Morning Snack: raw almonds & carrots
Lunch: grilled chicken breast, sweet potato, steamed brocolli
afternoon snack: apple string cheese
afternoon snack#2: assorted raw veggies hummus
Dinner: doesnt have to be low carb but sensible and not a ton of refined carbs (exception tuesday small church group pot luck, be sensible and not overindulge)
Night Snack: leaving myself some leeway here but most likely sugar free jello with FF whip cream or blueberries and milk or nuts

ok no more screwing around!

I was starting to get 'sucked in' to that, it's too late to do anything about it mentality! Stupid stupid stupideo!! DH and I are planning to try for #2 soon and I was starting to convince myself the steroid gain was too large a setback might as well wait until after #2. What a moronic idea.

I NEED to be healthy FOR this pregnancy, 20 extra pounds is detrimental to my chances of conceiving, my chances of carrying to term, my chances of escaping gestational diabetes etc etc etc

I know I can loose the 8lbs again really quick if I just put my mind to it, it came on really quick, I know its a yo-yo and that is what I have been trying to avoid but it came on really quick (well earned ming you--idioto) and I can take it off really quick.

I NEED to jump start my weight loss efforts, give my pancreas a break as it is kind of sluggish after this round of steroids, get my energy back, and get all the processed junk and associated cravings out of my system.

I listed the menu I have planned above for the week that will help me kick start this and no more cc I am going to go by content as eating like this has always been key to loosing alot weight and steroid associated water gain very quickly. Since I am not sticking to low carb for dinner I wouldnt expcet to see quiet as much but probably at least 4 lbs this week. Of course PMS monster is here so we shall see............

I really need a good kick in the head right now

Reasons to loose weight NOW:
healthy pregnancy
enough energy to get through a pregnancy
NOT feeling like a pregnant blob for 10 months
stay fit through this pregnancy
energy to keep up with 2 year old WHILE pregnant
attractive do DH

to NOT end up in XL mat clothes with 40lbs gained again

did fairly well today, got low blood sugar from decrease in sugar around 3 and by 3:30 I was miserable. Tomorrow I will have a headache and a bit of low blood sugar but then by wednesday it hsould be just a super headahce with a clearing on thursday. It takes my body a while to acclimate. Ate a bit more than planned but overall a good day.

did 45 minutes on bike followed by stretch.

Sounds like you are getting it together chicky...how is it going...your not alone a few of us are strugglin too...

i will check in soon:)

Glad to see you posting regularly again

trying very hard to get my act together, too tired, too much to do and a bit overwhelmed and allowing my health/weigth to fall in last place. Also feeling a bit defeated by the recent weight gain and wanting to get pregnant again.

I need to eat helathy for my pregnancy irregardless of my weight when I get pregnant sooooooo I need to get it together made a healty breakfast and lunch yesterday and today but yesterday ruined it with bad snacks. Must get it together.

going to log my points, or lack thereof in sheet tomorrow and post here but I really dont have time to keep up on all the threads and chatting

feeling very defeated but trying to hang in there, I have started doing good with healthy eating but still adding in bad snacks (too many sweets). I really need to break this cycle, it starts after lunch and I think part of it is job stress and the plethora of available snacks in my immediate work area that I just dont say no to. Ugh.

I did start back with my excercise bandwagon after 5 day hiatus. Limited time this week so have been jogging outside earlier instead of waiting for gym to open @ 5:30. Next week will be a VERY stressful work week for me, very high pressure, learning something new, in conference where need to perform for 10 hour days each day adn everything is catered you basically dont leave the room and they just bring in more food YIKES. Still coming up with a game plan. I have to be there too early to go to gym but I want to try and get up a bit earlier yet and jog, even if it is just 30 minutes.
