Progress

Ok so there is definately some progress being made, I can tell especially around my abs. At the end of the next week challenge I hope everyone will be able to see the change in my tummy as I can tell there is starting to be a 'pack' under there LOL:smash:, I will not go so far as to say a 6 pack BUT right now you cant see it easily as its a bit 'camoflouged; :ack2:!

The scale is repaying me for getting back on track and says 153.5 which is great, I saw 153.0 one time one day so we are getting back to the right range! I like the 153 number because the way my body looses then holds then looses I know the next time I could be in 140 LAND OMG OMG! That puts me in the 'final push' of the last 10.

Soooo here is my accomplishments for past ~5 weeks as I did this about a week into the challenge.

Start Weight: 162.0 & BMI:26.3
End Weight: 154.0 & BMI:25.0 (0.1 left to get out of overweight land:sifone:)
Height:63.75

BMI Weight Status (American Centers Disease Control)
18.5 – 24.9 Normal
25.0 – 29.9 Overweight


Size 12: same but fitting better and a couple new 12's fitting but snug

Measurements: Then NOW Difference
Chest (just above line) 36.34 36 -0.35 (does that mean my boobs are saggier LOL)
arm (widest part arm) 13 12 -2.0
thigh (widest part left leg) 26 25.25 -1.5
belly (belly button line) 34.5 33 -1.5
hips/butt (widest part butt all way around) 45 43.5 -1.5

I have no idea if that is 'good' I really have no frame of reference, I used to go to a place that weighed and measured but I dont think I have those anymore, it was years ago. Though if I coudl find them it would be nice for comparisons sake.
 
Your doing great and i can totally notice a diff in your pics...your lil belly is disapearing:D:D:DI wouldnt doubt for a moment that youhave abs brewwin under there.
 
hey hun! i saw on the photo thread that you want the photso side by side / watermarking, if oyu want to send me it in the size you already want it in, i can go into photoshop and put them side by side and watermark it. ahha have u seen my watermarks? they're kind of obnoxious. i can make yours more subtle if you prefer. haha. let me know! :)
 
a bit of situational depressive episode here, not truly depressed but ticked off and a bit down.

Anway so basically I have cystic fibrosis but I am pancreatic sufficient (incase anyone reading actually knows someone with CF and calls BS) meaning I can and do gain weight unlike most. ANyway feb is my bad month and I am getting sick, I am starting two weeks of high dose steroids (hello hunger, mood swings, and fat ass) anyway in hopes of staving off a full blown lung infection BUT now I have caught a cold ( steroids suppress your immune system). So I am feeling ubber crummy and since my lungs are bleeding a bit I cant work out to make myself feel better!!! Tomorrow I can again perhaps if no more blood. I am trying ot rest and do lots vitamins to get this cold on its way out!! I hhave a 2 hour thing at church tomorrow night I might not go now because of being around sooo many poeple and not feeling well, I really hope I can go, its a national speaker/program and should be really good.

Anyway I guess my weight will be high starting challenge because A-its PMS time and B-its steroid time--again. But on good side maybe I wont truly gain weight since I will follow challenge and then when water weigth DOES finally leave I will be a slim trim momma!!!

I hate february--bleck but thne its like wishing 1/12 of my life away too

Im weightin in high too due to sodium on friday, I should know better, i stay focused for a reason and so on...Oh well what can one do, just restart another day...fresh

bleck OMG I knew scale would be high but not THIS high 161.5 that is 7 FLIPPIN POUNDS higher! I feel like I am going to 'start' any day but being I am on 3mo back to back BC pills I dont 'think' I will but man I have killer cramps and I had to up my steroids to the highest oral dose you can take for past two days UGH! Ok more room for improvement right?

Try not to stress too much about the 7lbs.. I agree w alta some of it has to be water weight!! I know you'll get in back off soon!! GOod Luck in the challenge!!

ok so I think my weight is going to continue to bounce around for next two weeks with the whole steroidthing so I am going to try and not stress over it. Today was 155.0 and 157.0 with yesterday being 161.5 FOUR TIMES ---yes I was in disbelief. Still no gym today but I am going to go walk on break with my gal pals and perhaps at lunch as well. The steroids are making this very challenging, I was a complete insomniac last night then I finally got to sleep and at 4:30 I just couldnt get up plus there is a point at which I know I need the rest to kick this bug more than excercise and the past couple days I felt the rest was more needed but I REALLY want to get back. Perhaps the walking today will help me get back tonight to sleeping and htne tomorrow to waking.

I hate having everyone stop by my journal right now when A-I dont have time or where with all to do the same and B- I am such a bummer this is NOT like me!!!!

ok well I ate breakfast as soon as I woke up (not like me) I was starving (thanks roids)

thank you gals for visiting and cheering me. I think this cold is holding on for the long haul, I had a class last night at church that between that and work tired me out. I did get up to the gym this morning and did 5K on elliptical 2miles at low speed followed by 1.1 at more intense probably 35 minutes followed by 5 minute stretch. Have good food planned for the day and a bit of rest this evening.

oh and weight back up to 161 today so I think I am going to start ignoring it until my prednisone tapers in a week or so. I definately deserved it though, yesterday was truly fat tuesday!
