Forearm Injury

I don't know if it's injured or not, but when I do pull-ups, palms facing away from me, the hones for Lats, basically my right forearm hurts, on the inner side, towards the elbow, could it be I pulled or ripped an extensor or something? :( Any advice or help... ?

Thankyou.

There's a lot of things it could be. A strain if it's in the belly of the muscle, or a ligament tear or tennis elbow if it's right around the joint. Forearm splints (basically shin splints in the arms) is also a possibility, but pretty uncommon. I would just go get checked out by a doctor. Forearm injuries are pretty easy to get diagnose in person.

Thanks a Lot man!

Yeah, it's more like, inside the 'muscley' meaty belly bit of the inner forearm, not actually any joint, yeah so probably strained. Well tomorrow I do legs and abs, we'll see if it still hurts on Saturday, I'll be mad, and might have to rest it a while -___________-

Cheers man

That actually happen when a tendon for one of your muscle tightens up and the only way of getting rid of the pain is to release the tendon so it makes everything its rightful length again. That pain may be happening because of tight tendons in your wrist which do become quite painful. Here’s how to release those tendons to get rid of the pain:

• With hand resting in front of you with the palm up, bend your wrist as far as you can. Then press into the area behind the wrist, where they take your pulse, and hold a good amount of pressure on it. After 30 seconds slowly open your wrist up as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your wrist open for 30 seconds. For the best result relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

• Take rest minimum of two to three weeks.

Keep in mind that it may take months for it to heal to the point.
