Football WeightLifting

Hey guys. Alright, I've got a little less then a year to get myself into College Football Tight End shape. I just need a workout regimen, could anyone make one up for me. Also, what should I be looking for when it comes to Protein supplements, etc.

The Bill Starr Program I like but its got me slightly confused.

Generally speaking, I do 5 sets of 5 reps of the said excercises.

On the final set, I bump the weight up b 2.5%.

The next week I begin the same excercise at the new increased weight and the final set the 2nd week is in essense up 5% from the first week.

I believe I got that one correct?

the intermid bill starr. its 5x5, but only the last set is really heavy, you ramp the weight up to the last set.
Read the info here:

it explaines everything, if you still have questiones, just post here :)
note this:
"Incorporating the Olympic Lifts:
The above is basically setup for someone who doesn't know the OLs. Starr's original workout included Power Cleans and High Pulls. Instead of Bent Rows substitute Power Cleans. Rather than Deads substitute High Pulls. That’s a quick and dirty way of handling this without much disruption."

since you do football its smart to have some explosive lifting, the OLs are good for that.

Deep Hack Squats.

Also, now I need a question abuot re-hab. I pulled a muscle in my calf while lifting and now its stinging like a...
