Well, let me start this off by saying my name is Eddie. I live in Texas and have most of my life. I have struggled with weight all of my life and has started rearing it's head in my health recently.
My health is fine except for borderline hypertension. I know what that can bring and I do not want to keep wasting away. My weight keeps me as a shut in for the most part. I do not get out and cannot drive as I am too heavy to get behind the wheel of a car. I don't have a job because standing for extended periods is difficult and painful at times.
I went to the doctor and was weighed. Below is what it was about a month ago. Because I am so heavy, I cannot get regularly weighed on a traditional scale so I will update as I can.
Here is my desires and goals:
Current weight: 500 lbs.
Goal weight: 180 lbs.
Time frame for total weight loss: 2 years.
Mini goal: 350 lbs.
Time frame for mini-goal: 1 year.
My issue is not being able to say no when I have nothing to do which is why I am joining this forum, to have support as I don't have any in the home I live in.
I don't have a plan or program right now. I just want to eat less and excercise more. I am open to suggestions. Thank you.
