Floater's diary

Woke up at noon but happy. Had some odd nightmares though. Gym day today and I'll go grocery shopping on my way home.

Woops it´s a bit late fro breakfast but breakfast today is baked pollock fillets with nettle pesto, lemon juice, roasted sesame oil, white pepper & salt, green peas, and mashed potatoes :Angel_anim:

I ordered black viscose overalls for occasions where I need to look presentable and I love the unisex look, especially with my tacticool fanny pack and stompy goth boots. The overalls will also fit me through the entire medical transitioning process and beyond. I feel happy.

I have SMART at 5PM and after that I´ll hit the gym.

Sounds like a great start to the day! I avoid overalls/coveralls because toilets but if I ever find a grown-up version of the wonderful ones I had when I was 4 I'll happy hold my pee all day for them.

It´s certainly a hassle but I trust in my ability to not let the top part mop up all mischievous pee stains off the floors. At least I hope so. Regardless of whichever toilet I end up using. (Which I honestly plan to be the disabled stall because using the men´s room after transitioning would make me vulnerable to violence and using the women´s room would scare the ladies. Sad fact: trans people are at a higher risk to develop UTIs because so many of us hold it in out of fear to use public bathrooms.)

Breakfast tasted amazing. I´m having a snack of pineapple & banana and mixed myself a protein drink with genuine vanilla, maple syrup and matcha and also packed a banana in my backpack for some quick post-workout carbs. I can already see a subtle change in my body, that doesn´t happen in a week of course, but I am now seven days into my lifestyle change, and after losing 2kg in two months just from quitting alcohol, having a reasonable, high veg/fruit and low sodium balanced diet has really combated my puffiness. Yay!

Gym was great. Had locker room protein shake & a banana. I´ll have some oatmeal with blueberries next and then figure out something high in protein that´s not a protein shake because my stomach can handle only so much protein shakes lol.

I can really sense your happiness :)

Had a portion of mash + pollock and will have rye bread with tahini and maple syrup next.

So happy about transitioning.

EDIT also had a moderate piece of parmesan, felt like I needed a little bit more building blocks

If your body is ok with soy steamed soy flakes (analogous to rolled oats) might be a good occasional alternative to protein shakes.

I think it's probably similar in effect because my "shakes" are literally soy protein and water BUT the flakes are yummy and I could make some facon out of them!

Prepped lentil stew with veggies, soy mince and nduja.

Breakfast: a small bowl of lentil stew, 200g of cottage cheese.

Great. /s I´m on a trauma deep dive. God have mercy this is some horrifying stuff. Can´t even share it here. I hope I won´t dissociate too badly.
