Flat Stomache

Ok, I'm a rapper in the progress, I'm 13 & I have a sort of little plump on my stomache that I want to get rid of:

I want to get rid of it & just make it flat, like most other rappers have. I also have these reaaaaaaaaaly tiny "man-breasts" that I want to get rid of. How do I do that?

Edit: My weight goal is this skinny:

Read around on the board. When you start getting into the music business trying to cut it on your own, you'll most likely get skinny, really quick.

Okay, read around the board for informaton on that. There are tons of threads just on abs. Quite afew, even, for manboobs.

Just to push ups to kill your tiny man - boobs and then do crunchs and situps to get you abs. But also keep in mind that it all depends on your diet too. If you are drink coke and/or other sugary drinks/food it will get you fat.

Well, can you guys like give me a work-out schedules with foods or something? Like how many push ups a day & stuff. And what foods I should eat?

Just a thought - I wouldn't worry about it. You're 13, You'll be going through a whole crap load of size and weight changes in the next 5 years. Just stay active, don't worry about routines and gyms.

Some push ups and crunches won't be bad for you, fitness is for all ages, but if you wait a few years you'll be able to really tone your body properly.

Just for personal interest - What does rapping have to do with a flat stomach?

Diet - Don't they have programs about diet in school anymore?

When you wake up in the morning, do 10 push ups and 10 sit ups.
Next week, do 15/15.

Do them at night an hour before bed as well.

Guaranteed within a month you'll have a difference. It's not hard, you don't have to worry about rest days or any of that crap, just some easy exercises every day and you'll soon be a bit firmer.

I assume you do a sport? Soccer, basketball? If not, take one up, or start jogging or something, it'll burn off that little bit of flab.

On a completely unrelated note - by the look of that red crease, you spend alot of time hunched over, work on your posture a bit too, just for fun.

I'm signed to a record label, you can't be seen like all like that.

Can I do 20/20 to start to hurry the process?

I'm not on a team, & I can't be because of my parents divorce & visiting them, you know. But I play basketball when I can in my backyard. It's very cold in Brooklyn right now though.

What you mean?

"Can I do 20/20 to start to hurry the process?"

Probably, I have no idea how strong you are to start with.
Remember though - If you go any higher than that you'll be putting your muscles under a bit of stress, which means rest days in between.
It's actually better if you go hard then rest for a day then go hard again, I was just suggesting something you can do every day.

When I was your age I did 20 sit ups, 20 curls, 20 hammer curls, 20 lat raises and 20 press ups every night. It's not exactly a real workout, but pre-puberty it's enough to keep you pretty firm.
(for weights I used foam stubby holders filled with coins (About 5 lbs) at the time I didn't even know what the exercises were called, I just moved how I had seen on some gym-show.)

Doesn't necessarily have to be sport, just weight-free exercise, running, swimming, or there are workout exercises like burpees.

Some other folk here might prescribe something a little more stenuous. I'm just into fitness and feeling good, others here are into big mucles and posing for the cameras.

Ah, Those round black things are weights.

Well it makes sense to me.

Those two on the left are side views of your arm.

Getting a bit off topic though, I was just saying what I did, those won't do anything for your abdomen.

As well as the general exercise, which should reduce fat. Press ups should help with the chest, so would flyes.

For stomach you want all the Crunches, Sit ups, Vs and all that.

Also look into exercise balls and the pilates side of thing, it won't give you big muscles, but you'll be hard and have excellent balance.

What's a Flye?

Ok, what are the little black balls on the end of their hands? I know the one with the line between the black ball is a weight, but what is the thing with out them?

They're weights as well.

If you can't see the bar it means it is being held horizontal, with the hand either palm-up or palm-down.

The one where you can see the bar is where it is being held vertical, with the palms facing inward.

A flye is where you lay on your back, either on a fitness ball or on a bench, and wave your arms like an idiot.

Rather than try to draw another picture, I'll use someone elses.
