fitting fittness training around work?

Hey guys, wasn't to sure where to post this so thought I would chuck it in here.

I've been running regurly over the last 8 weeks and can do a five mile run in 40 mins, but now I've jus got myself a job working nights in a warehouse and was just woundering how people manage to fit there training in with work. I did a four mile run before work the other day and then slept 12 hours after work cause I was jus shattered. I hope its just a case of sticking to it untill my body adapts cause i wuite enjoy all this running.

I work 12-hour nights, 6:30pm - 6:30am, for three consecutive nights a week. My schedule rotates once a month so I could have anywhere from 2-8 day weekends.

Right now, I do my workout in the morning of the last work day, then two days after that and then on the morning of the first workday of the week.

So, at present, that's Wed, Fri and Sun mornings.

I work 11 pm till 6.30am 5 nights a week (one in 3 saturdays) I walk to work which takes half an hour and then chase around all night trying to work as fast as i can. By the time my shift is over i'm readdy for my bed and get a lift home and go straight to sleep and get up at about 2pm.

There are ways to make it happen, and it'll get easier as your body adjusts.

Thats good to hear, I'll stick at and just keep trying to increase my exercise as I adapt.
