Fitness after 4

Thanks Shellsy and Sparrow. Feeling much better today, but what a day. My son (8) fell at school and chipped his front tooth in half. We got into the dentist, they think the nerve is intact and they bonded it back together. It looks good, hopefully it works.

Today was rough, still in pain, but the mtrin is working. Beginning to think I need an antibiotic to kick this. I decided to cheat today and had chinese for lunch and a candy bar. I think I have that out of my system now. Will be doing upper body workout tonight whether I want to or not. I think I have probably gained this week thanks to Halloween, but there is always next week. I am planning to take picture again this week. I have been tracking my progression, hopefully I can see more changes. I am definately more toned than I was in June and I have muscles showing that were invisable ;-)
 
Okay, so I ate fair this weekend, very few cheats, but I did not find time to exercise. I was not sedentary as I worked on something all weekend, but still needed to workout. I weigh in tomorrow and I am sure I have gained, but I know I will do better this week. I am no longer feeling sick, so life is better!
 
Surprisingly enough I lost a pound and am down to 127lbs. I guess eating right most of th etime does work. I still need to do better this week, but I am pleased with my progress!

I had a kick butt lower body workout tonight. I have added some core training using a ball and light weights, should be interesting to see how it works.
 
Bad day today. I didn't eat well enough, way too low in the calories. Work was frustrating and I am feeling a little low. Planning to do cardio tonight and work until I can't stay awake any longer

Well, I took abreak this weekend and relaxed, ate bad, you know the drill. I will be back on track starting this evening. My weight is holding around 127 lbs. Had a rough week last week at work, but life is slowly improving. Thanks Shellsy and Sim for thinking of me. Tongiht I am planning on cardio to start my week off right.
 
Cardio complete. Will do lower body tomorrow, planning to eat better as well ;-). Here are my then and now stats ;-)

July 27 Stats

Body fat: 21% (according to calipers) G: 16%
CW 140? (guessing here, scale is broke lol) Was 144 in June.
Height 5' 6"
chest 38 inches
waist 29 inches
hips 38 inches
Snug size 8.

Today's (About 16 weeks later)

Body fat: 18% (according to calipers) G: 16%
CW 127 (bought a scale lol)
Height 5' 6"
chest 36 inches
waist 27 inches
hips 36 inches
Wearing a size 6 again!
Definately pleased with my progress, but I know I can do better.

Thanks D, it feels so much better to be getting into shape again, not to mention my kids are developing really good opinions about fitness and stayin in shape.
 
Well, Let's see, the last couple of days have been awful. I threw my back out and could barely walk let alone do anythng else. A shot of toradol at the docs took the edge off. I am unable to exercise and adctually had to call in sick. I am trying to be otimistic as today is much better than yesterday, but I haven't pushed myself either. :(
 
Still in alot of pain. I am taking a ton of motrin as ordered and it doesn't seem to help much. Obviously have not execised at all and my eating hasn't been the best either. I may try doing what exercises I can tolerate and put them together as one workout , it would be better than nothing I suppose.
 
Today started out rough, but with motrin and tylenol I can move better than yesterday. Will attempt some light exercise this evening. I feel like I am losing my progress. I guess you can say that I really need to exercise to feel good about myself. I think I will avoid my scale for the next week ;-) till I am back on track.

Thanks Wendy, I am trying to remind myself this is temporary.
 
Take it easy Missy you don't want to prolong your recovery by moving too fast. You haven't been out too long so remember that a lot of what you feel is mental (I get it cause I'm the same exact way). You also have been working out long enough that "muscle memory" will snap you back to where you are in no time. Don't fret! :D
 
Thanks Sparrow, I am doing much better today. I am officially pain free and trying to get bacl into the swing of things, starting today. I did the whole Black Friday experience lol Now I am back to focusing on what I need to do again. Will post new goals lter today!
