First diet ever

Its been almost 2 weeks and I'm down 15 lbs I know some is water weight. 1500 cal a day no carbs walking 30 min a day and pushups. Support needed diet is tough. Looking to lose 50 lbs at first. Talk with me through our journies! :)

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your plans! 1500 kcal a day really isn´t a lot for a grown man, especially one who works hard to be active. May be hard to keep up! But 15 lbs gone in two weeks is, of course, phenomenal, so that ought to give you a lot of motivation. Have you started to find healthy foods you´ll enjoy eating after getting to your goal weight yet?

I'm going shopping for yam spaghetti and soy meat today. But I've been living on beans and cabbage. Getting tired of those two things.

Love cabbage in fall/winter and occasionally get really hungry for beans as well but after two weeks I´d be pretty sick of both :D Yam spaghetti´s nice, but then I like most most veggie things as long as they´re quick to make. Unless or until I come across a tub of icecream of course... Do you usually cook for yourself?
 
Yes I cook at home. Bought 170$ worth of health food today! I think nachos looks the best these days haha.

170$??? That´s a LOT of money. Nachos aren´t really my thing, luckily, because when I start derailing it´s awfully hard to get back on track. However: most people find it easiest to allow themselves small portions of the foods they crave to avoid caving completely. Good luck!
 
Ya groceries are expensive in Alaska especially tasty specialty health food. Sorry for talking about junk food! 3 weeks into my diet grease and oil is unappealing anyway :s

Excellent news O. When the hunger dies down it is so much easier. My hunger can be a beast sometimes!

Tapatalk doesn't work for WLF anymore since the forum had to be updated. It is much more phone friendly now though via Google or your usual search engine. You have to sign in every time, though.
 
I'm doing well I just jogged for the first time on a treadmill at the gym last night and I went a lot longer than I thought I would. I think it was the best way of realizing my weight loss so far because I'm used to the visuals kind of since I've been stuck at 200lb for a number of weeks now. I just weighed in at 198 this morning though so I finally broke the plateau. yeah I'm just gonna check in on the computer now since my phone is buggy.
