Finding the fox within! Take two......

Okay I know I havent been on here for a while but I swear I have been 1000% bodytrim compliant. Life is super dooper crazy at the moment. But what is great last weigh in I have some how managed to break into the 80's(kilos that is). It has been years since I have seen an 8 at the beginning at of my weight. So, YAH!!!!! for me.
I hope everyone is doing well and I will try to get to my buddies diaries sometime in the next few days.

Well, what can I say my "Finding the Fox within..Take 2" was short lived. So much has changed in my life since April 15th 2010. Mind you, the one constant in my life is the on going battle with my weight. Where to start, approximately 2-3 months after my last post, I had to quit my dream job as Music Store Manager due to financial difficluties. I began work as a Shipping Agent which is very time consuming, stressful and consists of the most bizarre roster yet somehow I thoroughly enjoy it, sometimes.Last year I was exercising regularly, eating well and reached a record personal low weighing at 85kg. Mid year last year I discovered ROLLERDERBY!!! My new found love <3 <3 <3 Not even five months after beginning derby, I suffered a severe ligament injury in my right ankle. All forms of exercise became much too painful, even my morning 5km walks were too much. Three months of no exercise, throw in an emotional trauma and a mild case of depression (although I was not put on any medication I was self medicating, drinking at least one bottle of wine a night by myself) you get weight gain!!!! So here I am again, ankle is recovered though still requires strapping when training, I'm eating really well and I'm at derby training 4-5hrs a week. Morning walks are becoming rotuine again with random strength training thrown in. Let's see if I can reach my record low from last year before November 2013 ~ my family holiday which is to feature many appearances at theme and water parks!!! Here's to new journeys to reach old goals!!

Welcome back! Way to get back on that horse girl. As we all know, achieving and maintaining a healthy bodyweight is an ongoing process, ain't no shame in starting again! I think WLF diaries are kind of like AA for us lol, it works if you work it!!! Keep coming back :) Best of luck on your journey!!!

Welcome back lovely! Rollarderby sounds awesome--So sorry about your ankle. I suffered torn ligaments 5 years ago and it's not been the same since. Are ya getting physiotherapy or anything?

Thanks, I totally agree with your AA comment. :) I will most definitely be around.

I'm really naughty, I was referred to physio but in the small remote town. Getting an appointment with a physio is like finding a needle in a haystack. So let say, I dont go as often as I probably should. A bit like my counselling sessions!:blush5:

Okay, I suppose I should weigh in and set a goal! I got myself back on track May 2013 SW - 95kg (209lb) I'm now down to 91kg (200lb). I would like to reach 85kg (187lbs) come November. I havent really got any starting photos but this photo was taken late March with my brother and sister.

KC?
Im still back.....are you....I hope so.

Hey Brawny, yeah mate I am still here. Havent fallen off the bandwagon or radar just yet. I have how ever had a crazy month at work. The last three weeks have seen over 150hrs clocked and only 3 full days off.

Like I stated in my last message, work has had me exhausted and wanting to bail on all types of exercise however I have still managed to attend my twice a week derby training sessions and last week attended my first beach bootcamp(which was awesome and left me so sore the next 2 days) My derby league have also started a 30 day squat challenge as we prepare for a statewide tournament we are also increasing our training to three times a week. Yesterday was a rest day but today I have to complete 100 squats plus I have derby training tonight.

My eating has been great and I have cut my coffee intake down to only one cup in the morning.Im drinking no soda and minimal juice.I rarely drink black tea but drink perhaps 2-3 cups of green tea daily.

I will try to swing by more often.

Here she comes again!

So here we go again!!!!!! After my last post above life got even crazier for me, I completed my management cert 4. Took a promotion and moved interstate without my family aka my support system, they moved across two months later....my work consumed every aspect of my life, family time, rollerderby, romance.....When work wasn't consuming my life my time was spent worrying about my 8y/o son well being who didn't take the move too well and was being bullied at school. I have been living in this new city 8 months and have not made one solitary friend. That is also 8 months without daily/regular exercise, I really want to join the rollerderby league up here but I'm so unfit I'm embarrassed to show up to train just yet. I decided a few weeks ago that since my son was finally adjusting and work was settling it was time to get back to looking after myself. I originally looked at joining a boot camp for women but the PT running them postponed their commencement. I didn't want to wait and joined a gym, something I haven't done for a few years. Today with quite an amount of anxiety I walked into my new gym and met with one of the coaches. It was quite heartbreaking when I discovered with the little weight gain over the last eight months I am now again classified "obese".
I now turn to you all ~ my like minded peers for motivation and support to get back on track to find a fun, fitter and healthier.

Start weight 07/07/2014 - 94kg

Hey Brawny! Yeah I'm back and hopefully for the long haul. Even though I'm 30kg lighter than I was 6-7 years ago I want to see another 15kg gone. Gone for good! I'll be checking in on you!!!

Yeah I am lighter too. But after losing 56 lb in 09 I have been on a 20 lb roller coaster I am on the verge of being at a 15 year low but I really need to lose at least 40 more.
Let's get this done.
