thanks guys, I really appreciate the kind words. I am planning on posting more before and after photos when I get to it. I have a thread with pictures, but it is more like a before and 2/3 of the way there, LOL.

T, when are you comming up this way, we need to go for a walk or bike ride together sometime? By the way where are your photos?

Jeramy and Todd, It looks like both of you are on the right path. stay strong and keep going, you will never regret it. Lossing the weight will not solve all your problems but it sure goes a long way in making life more enjoyable.
 
Hey, saw you are logged in and i know we were close in stats. How are things going? Still in loss mode or more maintain?

I have been floating around 210-212 lately. Trying to add some muscle but really want to get below 210 again and stay their.

Hey Matt, I'm doing well. I'm currently trying to maintain, which for me has actually been as big or bigger of a challange than losing the weight. I got down to 204 initially but seemed to level off at 208 (+- a couple pounds) and stayed there for quite awhile. When I started training quite a bit for a Triathlon I did this summer I ended up getting down to 200/201. I have been eating bad lately (Holiday goodies) and have gotten back up to 217 as of today, but I am still working out quite a bit and plan on eating better and dropping the 10 pounds. I too would like to add some muscle, my one regret when I was losing was that I should have eaten more protien and done more weight training to maintain the muscle I had, but I am still about 1000% percent better off than I was.

Wow!!! it has been almost 2 years since my last post. Not sure if any of the same people are here still or not.

As for an update - it is mixed. I have put on a few pounds in the last year and want to take them back off. My eating has been very bad lately :cuss: and need to get back on track which is why I thought it would be a good idea to return to my weight loss roots. On an up note I have maintained a fairly regular workout routine. So if I can focus on my eating I am confident that I can take the weight back off.

7/21/06 - 358 lbs
7/20/07- 204 lbs
11/15/10 - 250 lbs
