I know EXACTLY how you feel. This happens to me sometimes.... the key is don't let it ruin your entire day!
Don't look at McDonalds later and say "oh well might as well have a cheeseburger to go with all this"
Pick yourself up, push hard at your workout today and if it was me I wouldn't skip dinner. All that's going to do is make you starving and put you at risk for binge eating.
Instead have a nice salad with some grilled chicken or something like that.
You'll be alright, trust me we all do it!
I'm also a bored eater, so these days I'm all about distraction. I even write a list of things I can do to distract myself and I keep it on the fridge to remind me.
Don't freak out, just go for a walk and write a plan on what you're going to do tomorrow.
I highly suggest picking up a copy of Intuitive Eating. It's cheap and will help you lots, I think.
