I decided to switch to full body workouts for a handful of reasons. I'm 5'9" 175 lbs. relatively lean (12% BF approx). I warm-up and stretch before every workout.
I do everything as supersets w/three workouts per superset 3 times. I only rest for 45 seconds after each superset.
Saturday/Monday/Wednesday:
1. L-pull-ups (pull-ups with legs parallel to the ground) (3x10)
2. Push-ups (20 diamond, 20 regular)
3. Dumbbell Laterial raises (3x12)
1. Dumbbell bench (3x12,10,8)
2. Dumbbell row (3x12,10,8)
3. Aronlds (3x12,10,8)
1. Cable crossover (3x10)
2. Cable lat raise (unsure of name but works Anterior Deltoids) (3x10)
3. Shrugs (3x10)
1. Wide-grip pull-down (3x15,10,8)
2. Reverse grip straight bar cable tricep extension (3x12,10,8)
3. 21's (3x) (on wednesday I do precher curl 3x12,10,8)
I do perform mild variations between days but this is an overview. I cannot do squats or deadlifts for a few more weeks/months due to surgery I had on my lower back at the pivot point on my waist. Once I'm able, I will add those into my routine.
On off days, I run sprints, suicides, sprints w/weighted sled and sprints w/parashute.
What do you guys think? Am I overtraining?
