Hey speaking of chocolates, I got given a HUGE box of Lindt milk chocolate balls. I used to LOVE them... Luckily they are my little son's absolute favourite so I can pass them on to him (with strict rationing of course lol).
P.S. I'm not sure if I already said, but your haircut is awesome!
 
Fat should be below 70g a day.
Sat fat below 20g
Carbs.. not a clue but I think yours may be a little high.
Protein is too low!! 1g for every lb you weigh I think.. I'll double check all this btw :p

Carbs.. some american "expert" says 50-100g for weight loss, 100-150g for maintenance.
Most other sites say around 70-100g.
(although I did find another site that said you should be eating 240g a day!! But I don't think thats right...)

Protein.. 1g per kg not lb :p roughly anyway... if you're more active you need more, less active you need less..I'd just go for 1 for 1 :)

I was told that I should aim for a 60/20/20 ratio of carbs/protein/good fats. So 60% of your calories for the day should come from carbs (son't forget that fruits and veggies have carbs in them too), 20% of your calories from lean protein, and 20% from good fats like that found in fish and nuts and such.

The number of calories and/or grams of each depends on your current weight, age, height, and activity level to support your weight loss goals. There are LOTS of great stickies on the nutrition section of this website that are very useful.

Seriously though, it takes sooo much time and they don't have have the stuff I eat. Effort! I'm being a VERY good girl today and walking BOTH ways to work. And it's like 40 mins there and 40 mins back. Dragging the Yank with me, obviously ;) So that'll be a good long walk if I walk briskly!! It's about 2 miles there and 2 miles back so that'll be a 4 mile walk! Plenty of exercise :D

So many calories on booze!!

Exercise: 4 mile walk (382 calories burnt)


The walk was lovely :) Not tooooo brisk but brisk enough to get a sweat on. Shift was cancelled as soon as I turned up so walked straight home so it was 4 miles in a row without a break in between which was nice. Now I'm getting my drink onnnn and making a yummy dinner :D

Hey flumeface :) Yeah you should totally try vodka and coke :) Or vodka and lemonade. Mmmm, boozy goodness!

Going to a surprise party for my friend tonight so might get take away but will try and get a more healthy version (or just pick up a sammich or something instead) but my calories are low for today so I'm not too fussed!

Breakfast: cereal bar (92)
Lunch: 2 crumpets (160)
Dinner: 2 slices of mushroom and ham pizza (700)
Snacks: insane amounts of vodka. Must be well over 1000 calories just on booze! Urghh!

Total: Too many!!
Exercise: 30 min walk

So how many days did you last on the no booze front, lol? I usually go on a bender around the holidays so I'm trying to cut back right now and so far it's working. Have a good time at the surprise party!
 
I can't wait to get back on the vodka :p
Not been drunk in forever!! I'm off the painkillers and having friends round in a week or so, so I'm breaking out the vodka :p

I don't think I've ever had just vodka (unless it was mixed in one of those girlie mixed drinks), so don't know what it tastes like. I'm more of a wine gal though - LOVE my wine!

There is literally no food in the house. Or nothing I can eat anyway! So it's nearly 3pm here and I've had a cup of tea. Blehhh. Sent the boy to the shop whilst I carry on working. Got to wrap all the Crimmus presents soon :) I used to call Santa "Father Pippis" when I was little..I miss being a deranged child. Now I'm just a deranged adult--and that's less cute.

Going to try and get on the xtrainer in a while--had a huge walk planned today with C. We'd planned the route out and everything, was going to take about 3 hours! But then we woke up this morning and it has snowed all night and I can't risk fucking up my ankle. I've torn ligaments 3 times in the last 3 years and am usually bed-ridden and on crutches for wayyyy too long every time. Now my ankle is really weak and I just fall over as soon as I step out onto snow. It's not worth the risk, really. I'll get on a DVD or something instead :)

Hey you! I posted my update on the pregnancy in my diary! I know a while ago you posted in my diary asking about the baby!

Just wanted to say you look AWESOME! I'm so jealous! I'll get there once the baby is out and I'm healed. I'll have a long way to go, but I've done it before and can do it again!

I'll just be glad for Feb 7 (due date) to get here, tired of being nauseated (no the nausea never stopped like it's supposed to!) Even though I'm nauseated I still get hungry so I don't have problems eating (so I have gained 25 lbs so far) but a few mins after eating I'm nauseated all over again, it really sucks!

Anyways, you should be sooo proud of yourself or all you've accomplished!
