you should reward yourself when you meet your goals!! I plan on getting a mani pedi, or a full body massage, getting my hair done..buying a new outfit..or pair of shoes i fyou want to wait til your final goal..something, anything that makes you feel good!! it'll make hitting the next goal much easier!!
 
Jaz I love your diary so far! You sound like such a bubbly happy person! The pink text makes me smile too, best of luck on your journey, the 24/7 gym sounds incredible. I want one of those!
 
AMazing job losing 30 pounds already! That's about what I want to lose! And I totalllyl feel you on the bread- I'm addicted! But Lately I've been only eating one slice with my breakfast instead of my normal two, and now it's just a regular thing for me! I think once you get used to a new diet change (however small!) it just sticks :D

Don't beat yourself up over the pizza slice, you should be PROUD! Most people (myself included) would reach for another slice or two, but you limited yourself to one! That's great!

You're doing so well so far, keep it up girl!

It sounds like you are doing great. Keep up the good work. The only thing I would say is, it doesn't sound like you're eating enough. Maybe I read the post wrong but I think you said you had not even a serving of pasta and a small bowl of salad?? In a day? You should probably up your calorie intake. I know you want to lose the weight fast, as we all do, but that can lead to just packing the pounds right back on. Anyway, one slice of pizza is not bad at all. I eat one slice of pizza every now and then. I think it's great that your fiance is helping you with this! I think Tay (BF) tries to sabotoge me..lmao! I swear he's always trying to get me to eat more or something. I'm going to seriously hurt him. :)

I'm due for a pedi! But, I've just been holding off.. and I was thinking about that today.. and you know what happened?? When I talked to my fiance' earlier he was telling me how proud he is of me.. he asked what do you want me to do for you babe? Want me to do your feet tonight when we get home from the gym? LOL! I was like YEAH!!!! -- I'm definitely going to start making goals I think it'll make it more interesting and have something to look forward to once I get to that point! :) Thanks so much for commenting!

Thanks ma!! :biggrinjester: I'm so shocked I found one in this area! I live in the deep country of VA.. a town where everything shuts down at 10pm! LOL So finding a gym that was 24/7 and its only like 2/3miles from my house.. great! I got lucky lol.. Losing weight is on my side right now! :) -- Thanks for stopping by! :grouphug:

Hey girl! Thank you! -- I'm learning more about the whole eating habit as well.. But, I don't want to eat when I'm not hungry.. and what I eat it fills me up.. thats good right?? Or should I still eat a little more? I understand exactly what you are saying about "just packing the pounds back on" I totally get that.. AND I DEFINITELY dont want that! But, yeah BG is a great support! He has always accepted me as I was.. and he loves me how I am.. but, I know he'll go crazy once I get to where I want to be! LOL -- Your BF sounds like he loves you the way you are too! as he should :) -- But, sometimes we get to the point when we wanna change ourself.. FOR OURSELF! And they'll love it after anyways lol
 
Okay.. so today is Day 3! I know last night I said I wasnt going to get on the scale because I dont want to see the number bouncing back and forth.. but, I couldnt resist this morning lol.. and you know what I saw?? I lost 3 POUNDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so happy about that! But, thats just the beginning! I can't wait til I weigh in, in a MONTH! 3 pounds doesnt sound like a lot but its a start for me! :) I'm so glad I got this gym membership it has me so motivated.. especially with what we had to pay for it.. OH BELIEVE ME (I'm a chick that balls on a budget) So I'm going to get my moneys worth!!! lol It strives me more to go every night!! I can't wait to go tonight! My body got a lickin' last night but its still tickin'! I feel it all in my legs and stomach and arms.. WONDERFUL FEELING!! :) I just had to update real quick! I'll update my final day tonight when I get home from the gym!

Anyone got any pointers on what I should do tonight at the gym or should I keep doing what I'm doing??? Thanks for any suggestions! :)

I think you should eat a little more. I know what you mean about feeling full sometimes. But, I think when you don't eat much it sends your body into starvation mode and it holds on to the fat?? SOMETHING like that. I can't say for sure but I'd look it up. I'm not pro, haha And the fat is what we want to get rid of! lol

3lbs in 3days is great!! Congrats to that! I'm glad you're putting your gym membership to good use. I hear all too often about people getting memberships & not going, lol I know they just don't have the right motivation though but still I wouldn't have money to throw away like that, lol! I would like a gym membership one day. Hope you get a good work out in!

OH YEAH!!!! Before I forget AGAIN! (I keep meaning to post this!)

LMAO last night when I was walking on the treadmill.. I kept hearing a noise like it was a rock or something I was stepping on while I was walking the belt.. well, I kept looking down and moving my feet up and down looking to see if I saw anything and NOTHING.. well I kept walking because I was in a zone! As I walk more and more I up the speed.. so as I'm uppin' the speed a little more and walking a bit faster its like I stubble.. I look down and guess what I see?? LMAO I see the bottom of my FAVORITE nike sneakers flappin'!!!!!!!!!! I said omg I done walked outta the bottom of my shoes!! LMAO I jumped off and ripped the bottom off and jumped back on lol!!! It still has the bottom on the shoe just the rubber trace flap thingie is gone LOL!! It didn't stop my workout though! I would have came home and got another pair lol.. talk about motivation!!! I just had to share with yall.. my poor shoe! LOL
 
Well how is your day going so far?? I'm back at work today till saturday....I find work easier to plan my meals....if you dont' have it you can't eat it! lol I've also been eating a protein bar (half in the morning half in the afternoon) that keeps me in check and not hungry...they're awesome...I found ones that are just like eating fudge. Its 180 cal 2g sugar 21g protein....if you find your hungry during the day...try that...that is my day 3 suggestion :)

Hey girl! Thanks for stopping by! :) I know what you mean! Staying busy and focused on something keeps your mind away from food when your not "really" hungry.. I just got home from the gym! :p About to post my Day 3! WOO!
 
So it's DAY 3!

Still going GREAT! :D Woo go me! I had 2 hot dogs on wheat buns today.. (one in the afternoon, and one this evening) I grill my "frankfurters" and add mustard and a LITTLE bit of my world famous chilli (lol) and eat em' up! I also had a few tator tots.. and I drank TONS of water.. I ate what I wanted and it filled me up! I just don't think I can get into the whole routine of eating 3 times a day.. I NEVER have.. Do yall think it'll be bad for me later if I dont eat 3 meals a day?? Let me know because I dont want this to backfire on me! But, like I said earlier I dont want to eat when I'm NOT hungry.. I just can't do that :( -- Any input on that situation will help me TONS!

& Tonight at the gym was another fabulous sweat!! I did over 5 miles today almost 6! And It felt wonderful! I think I'm going to start bringing a book while I'm on the bike and read and ride! I'm starting to like the bike more than the treadmill because I can feel the workout so much more on the bike! I love it when I can feel it! So thats all for Day 3! :p

About to hit the shower and then lay it down for the night.. as always 6AM comes early! :)

Hey missy, I don't eat three meals a day, I used to when I was a child but I was still fat then so it can't have done me that much good. I've now got into a routine when I eat when I'm hungre, normally about 6-7 small meals a day a meal isn't a big thing, I normally have a smoothie in the morning and then eat fruit, beans, veggies whatever I feel like during the day. My big thing is eating rubbish and carbs so now I just don't have them in the house. I have tons of fruit and veggies and eat them in abundance and if I need something hot/filling, I have bean chilli or veggie curry or some tofu related concotion with one cup of brown rice. Its going well so far!

Lol at the shoe issue - how far are you walking???? I've just found out there is a 24/7 gym opening in my city! I'm sooo happy, its in the city centre and there is no parking but I intend to go late at night and park on the street. Happy days!

Hey girl!!!! Thanks for some insight on the meal eating deal! I just can't make myself eat when I'm not hungry lol..

I'm on Day 4 now... I've been doing 2 miles on the treadmill and 3miles+ on the bike.. I've had my favorite sneakers forever... they've just had their last walk lol.. (or maybe not?? LOL) They are still good enough to workout in... They are so comfy thats why I cant let them go! LOL I ripped the rubber thingie off the other shoe last night to make them equal.. they are still holding on! :) -- I'm glad you found a gym thats 24/7! I love mine.. it makes it so much easier for me.. timing is everything! :) Thanks for stopping by ma!
 
That is soooooo funny about your shoe. Even more funny that you took it off and hopped back on, lmao! You go girl. You are doing great with all of the exercise!

Thank you!!! :) I'm excited too! I think we got some good team players on our team even though quite a few of us is newbies! :) I for one know I'm not going anywhere and I'm definitely not quitting!
