Fat Guy In A Little Coat. (The War On 120 Pounds).

A Chris Farley reference right off the bat? Sold. I'm already a fan of you and everything you have to say.

Anyway, I read through your diary (because now that I know you like Chris Farley, I'm going to stalk the living shit out of you, MMMMWWUUAHAHAHA!!!) and I think you're off to a solid start here. You seem like you have a game plan. Now, all you have to do is stick to it and keep pushing forward. Good luck, man. I'll be checking in on you.

FYI - This is one of my favorite Farley skits.

Like most of you were saying on page 2, I'm glad the weather has changed here. Been a consistent 70-80 degrees, just lots of rain, but better than freezing and stuck inside all the time. Not ignoring anyone, I appreciate the comments, just been real busy with tax season...having to finish up 2012 lol. Working on 2013 now. I got some catching up to do with all of you in your diaries now that 2012 is out of my way.

@Le_squish, it really is a classic scene. Thanks for the sledgehammer idea, I hadn't thought of that and intend to get another one soon to maybe incorporate that into here. Sounds like a great plan. Appreciate the comment.
@MysticRealm, thank you!
@BugDude, appreciate it, man. Yeah, I just tend to worry and focus on non-sense. Should just focus on me first and that other stuff later.
@Little John, 5'9 - 5'10 range, 27. I'm not sure how fast he lost it, mine has been pretty steady 2-3 pounds. Just something that gets in my head and want to plan for.
@LaMaria, thank you for the swimming tip, I'll look into that now with the weather changed. You're right, it may not be a problem, different for everyone.
@MandyH, isn't that the truth. Love the logic. Helped me not worry too much about it. One day at a time.
@Furbytobarbie, thank you, I am!
@chefchitown, haha Chris Farley was great. Thank you for the luck, can't get enough of that!
@IHS Man, glad it could help, I'm no expert though. What works for me may not have the same impact for someone else.

Outside of taxes, I've been doing mostly well. There was one down day a week ago (probably because I haven't been too active here, d'oh) but had to take control of the ship and went strict this week. Into the 260's as of last weigh-in. Tomorrow holds another weigh-in but may not yield what I'd like, but that is okay. Keep pushing and it will dissolve eventually. Everything has been on pause though with these damn taxes so my life has been quite boring. Glad I can find a new medium now.

Wow, I am impressed by your weight loss, it's a good, steady decline! Well done and keep it up! being nearly 30 myself (damn you time!) I'm sort of worried about excess skin for when (not iff, when) I reach my goal weight. I started two weeks ago at 136kg, 300lbs, so I know it might be an issue. but I have to say, seeing your weightloss gives me hope for myself!

Thank you. Yeah, I worry about that as well, but one problem at a time, you know? If I can do this, anyone can. I'm the laziest of the lazy. In fact I'm at work right now lollygagging on here. Hang in there, in time you'll make it.

I believe the dieting gods were trying to send me a message today. Hit my cheat day today, out with a friend, we go and grab a slurpee, get back in the car, I take a relatively small sip and instant pain. I guess it went down the wrong pipe and i suffered from a little pulmonary aspiration. I don't know if that was it or not, I'm not a damn doctor, but I was in a world of pain. I thought I was going to end up on the news with the headline, fat man dies via slurpee. After about four minutes of struggling in this crippling sensation, it finally subsided. Fortunately I wasn't driving as we would've wrecked. Seriously was the most pain I've ever felt and I've been attacked by dogs, played football, been a passenger in a car that flipped twice.

Long story short, done with slurpees and cheat days for awhile. Closing in on the 50's range, feeling good. Just a quick update.

:D Sorry for any insensitive emoticons but you make it sound funny. I wish I´d be in instand pain (though perhaps not for 4 minutes) whenever I did something harmful to my body!

Mmm, delicious, dangerous slurpeeeee. We have slush puppies over in the UK--think it's the same sorta thing. Anyway, Hi *waves* You're kicking ass. Continueeeeeee

Have not posted here in awhile. The reason:
I took the entire month of July off! Big mistake. I felt ashamed of myself but I pushed forward, then I got really busy. In the mean time, I've altered my lifestyle choice and found something that works so much better now.

As of today December 1st... 235-233 pounds. Down from 300-310 that I was at in February. So I'm quite happy with almost 70 pounds removed.

But I am moving soon and want to really stay on top of making a journal so I don't slip up. I didn't even feel the need to cheat during Thanksgiving. Things are going well! Goal is still 180 but shorter term goals.
January 1st: 220.
April: 199. This is when I'm relocating to Florida.

You guys have always inspired me so I need to come back to push myself a little harder by following some of you awesome people that I used to keep track of. Maybe even help some others along the way.

Hi dude & welcome back. Congrats on the 70lbs lost. That's awesome! Keeping a diary is always a good idea I think. Sometimes it just helps clarify things. I often start typing something in my diary & by the time I have finished a problem is solved. Putting it out there for others to see often helps put things into perspective. Glad to have you back! Cheers, Cate.
