Here we go day 1

i have been told by my heart clinic i have to loose 3-4 stone, i am 6'1" tall weighing in at 16st12lbs my bmi is just out in the danger zone, according to the chart i have to weigh 13st8lbs
i have just started today thanks to a friend who gave me a slimming book the green and red days
my first days diary entry
Sunday 2nd November 16st12lbs
Breakfast:
Porridge (readybreak)
Lunch:
1 slice of toast and 1 boiled egg
at darts meeting 4

Dinner:
Roast chicken no skin 3 veg scoop of tatties
excercise: walked to pub and back 1/4 mile each way and sat typing this
i would not mind but i do not eat that much rubbish so i thought, when i took my daly diary up to the clinic, the doctor highlighted all the things i am eating too much of, which was sausage, fish fingers, chips (oven low fat) crisps (2 -3 packets a week) and the odd chocolate bar (now zero tolerance, nowt of any) scampi.
my wife and i have now looked at the book my friend has given me, and we have not to make that many changes to my evening meals, my breakfast i am now going to have every morning (i did not used to have Breakfast VERY IMPORTANT START TO THE DAYS DIET)
dinner:
just spent a fortune at supper market buying different things for a varierty of meals through the week
see how i go this is a one month trial,

all started since i tired stopping smoking, (stopped for 3 months put weight on started again, stopped for six months put weight on, now stopped for 27 months been told i have cholesteral problems and i am over weight) why did i stop smoking in the first place for? it was supposed to make me healthier, not a walking heart attack victim

i will inform you how i went on on Monday
