It is an American thing but we've adopted it too. People have also started to call each other "baby" and "honey". Young people say "like", like, a lot. Construction companies write "apartments" on their signs instead of "flats". And all our popstars (except Lily Allen) sing with an American accent. It's truly bizarrePersonally, I blame television, because it's, like, totally infectious.
