Extremely Sore Thighs

Hello all. A little bit a strange one here....I'm 25 and on a daily basis my thighs are completely sore. This was caused from ten years of what I can only describe as hard walking. I basically stomp around barefoot on the hardwood floors over a long period of time. At this point I'm basically in pain everyday and I'm taking hot showers to try to relax the muscles. I have done everything I can to try to change my behavior but I fear I damage has already been done. I'm 160 pounds by the way and am otherwise pretty fit.

Is there a specialist that I could go to? This is such a strange and hard to explain problem that I don't know where to begin telling someone.

I'm not a physical Therapist but I am knowledgeable in corrective exercise. you may have an underactive deep longitudinal system. Your body may not be distribusing force properly from your trunk to the ground. check out some stabilization excercises and stretching techniques such as self-myofascial release
