Exertion Headaches. Aspirin?

I've started to get , also known as Coital cephalalgia, for a couple months now. They only last through my first couple sets, then go away. I tried ibuprofen before my last 2 workouts and they seem to help. According to , there aren't any negative impacts. Since aspirin is an anti-inflammatory with muscles, I'm still curious if it affects my weightlifting. Do any of you get exertion headaches and how do you deal with it?

im dealing with them right now. I have it pretty bad, and it runs down my whole left side of my neck and the back of my head. I guess something got pulled in my neck, or torn, and is putting pressure on the back of my head or something. I am just waiting for them to go away, and I get them frequently even when I dont lift i.e just standing or sitting.

I take ibuprophen, and about 600mg every time. Seems to kill most of the pain. My mom has a prescription for meloxicam, which is a powerful anti-inflamatory. I tried taking out of them, and bam the pain was gone.

Go to your doctor, which is something I also plan on doing. See what he says.

All NSAIDs disturb satellite cell signaling, aka they hinder your gains.. The doctor is a good idea, covering up the symptoms with a drug probably isn't.
